I had an amazing experience at Troy Vision Center. From the moment I walked in, the staff was professional and made me feel comfortable. There was minimal wait time, and the preliminary testing was handled efficiently. Dr. Jason Ogonowski took the time to explain everything about my eye health and vision in a way I could easily understand. I really appreciated how Dr. Ogonowski listened to my concerns about dry eye symptoms, trying new contact lenses for the first time and provided thoughtful solutions. The optical team was especially helpful, was great at assisting me with picking out new frames/lenses and explaining my insurance benefits/rebates. I highly recommend Dr. Ogonowski and the entire team for anyone in need of top-notch eye care!"

I have been to Troy Vision a number of times. My family has also. We are all very happy. Everyone from the optometrists, optician, and receptionist have been very professional, pleasant and patient. I had an exam performed by the doctor and had to come back ( as I had trouble with the prescription due to an auto immune issue). He saw me a couple times to adjust my prescription. No problem. He was so considerate. The optician was awesome. She helped me with my glasses, sunglasses and contacts. Again, so patient and understanding. She spent a lot of time with me. I do not live close to Troy Vision but it's worth the drive. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. They are the best.

Troy Vision has been amazing to my family. Allison and the staff go above and beyond for us with our optical needs. The doctor is very knowledgeable and is always very patient with both my kiddos.

The receptionist is like you're dealing with a nasally stuck up Karen every time you call. She has a massive attitude problem with a dismissive manner. They treat you like this even when you are very kind and patient with them. Honestly, ever since the business switched to Dr. Ogonowskis son, all the good optometrists and receptionists retired or gone. So now you're stuck with the egotistical stuck up staff members. The office is just not as welcoming, friendly, and wholesome anymore. Dr. O should sit down with the rude receptionists because I know other patients feel disrespected and belittled by her all the time. Who knows, maybe she just has issues and takes her anger out at work. What can you do with those types of people.

I've been going here for a long time, and while the optometrist himself is fine and professional, the front desk experience has gotten bad enough that I'm done. The receptionist was rude, dismissive, and made the entire phone call more frustrating than it needed to be. It shouldn't be this difficult to check in or ask a simple question. Because of that, I'm switching to a different practice. The office over on Starbuck Island is where I'll be taking my business from now on -- and my family's as well. Good care starts at the front desk, and unfortunately this place just doesn't have it.
