I have been using central park optical for over 30 years. My last set of glasses had a defect that made one arm come off. I brought them in to be fixed a few days l later picked them up. Shortly after that the same arm came off again. I went back to the store and was told they gave me a "courtesy " and would not fix without collecting 50.00. this is a manufacturer defect. The eyeglass company they use should replace at no cost. Very disappointed in this Dr's staffs customer service.

Dr Alan Lax is by far one of the best doctors I've ever had. I've been going to him for years and don't know what I'll do when he retires, I hope he never does! The office staff is helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Good selection of frames and contacts available. Reasonable prices. I cannot recommend this office enough.

Dr Lax is the kindest and the most conscientious doctor I have ever seen. I have been visiting him for 15 years and every visit i am reminded why he is truly unique. After my eye inspection, he told me my prescription has changed a bit but I do not really need new glasses. I should wait till after Sept when my insurance will cover it. On another occasion he replaced my sons broken frame for free even though totally my son's fault. He is a gem and I strongly recommend him to everybody.

Thinking I had broken the frame of my glasses I stopped in for evaluation and replacement. Greeted immediately very pleasantly and assisted immediately. Staff was professional efficient and friendly, turned out I had broken a screw which was quickly replaced. Very happy with this office will utilize them for my next glass repair or replacement.
