Dr. Tod Haller

I would never recommend Dr. Haller. When Dr. Silverman retired suddenly I went for my scheduled appointment anyway with Dr. Haller. Dr. Haller "dilated" my eyes and said everything looked good. My eyes WERE NOT DILATED!!!! I have them dilated every year and know how it is. I could barely get through that appointment because of what was happening. I just saw a new doctor and she was reading my chart from Dr. Haller where he claimed some diagnosis of which he never told me about and I only found out because of the new doctor and her getting that file. I DO NOT have this condition. My new doctor told me she had another patient that came from Haller who was also diagnosed with the same thing and that patient did not have that condition either. It's beyond disappointing and upsetting. I was with Dr. Silverman for almost 30 years. She took her time and explained everything. Luckily my new Doctor knew Dr. Silverman and worked with her. I know I am in very good hands now. Stay away from Riverdale Vision.

It is amazing to find such a caring doctor who has the patience to explain everything clearly and makes each appointment enjoyable. He performs thorough tests to ensure everything is alright and always takes the time to ask and care about his patients.. It is truly a joy to visit him.

He is a very, very good doctor however, the front staff is absolutely horrendous. This will be the downfall of the practice. When Dr Bonnie had the practice there was a very lovely group of women at the front desk who actually knew what they were doing. It gets very frustrating and I don't really care how good of a doctor he is but when it takes a long time to get an emergency appointment or if I need a refill of medication, I shouldn't have to wait weeks for it. If I were Dr. Haller,, I would definitely replace the front staff and get all new women and I mean women, not kids or millennials.

I've been going to Dr. Haller for about three years now. I was being seen by Dr. Silverman. When going to Dr. Silverman she would have me come back for two visits. The wait time was super long. Being seen by Dr. Haller now is a world of difference. He completes every test in one visit and and the office staff and Dr. Haller are extremely efficient. They complete all the test in a reasonable amount of time. He is the best ophthalmologist I've seen to date.

Dr. Haller is caring, thorough, and excellent in what he does. We have visited him many times and been satisfied with services provided. It is sad that the current front office is failing the practice so badly. That office is unhelpful and incompetent. They won't simply accept their fault and try to blame patients. Very much hope that the office can get it's act together.

I have had a terrible experience with this practice. Exams are decent but lord help you if you need to contact the practice for questions or concerns- like medication reactions, forms to be filled out, etc you can forget it. The staff does not follow through on anything. I needed an important form filled out before the end of the year. I can't afford my eye drops and have been able to get at no cost. The company faxed Dr. Haller twice, called him once. I emailed, send a letter with instructions directly to him, walked into the office and hand-delivered a "confidential" form and instructions (so that it would get into his hands.) The company only receive an unsigned prescription- nothing else. So now it's the end of the year and because it wasn't recertified by Dr. Haller, I will no longer be able to afford my medication. Dr. Haller has plenty of time to post daily videos on Instagram but no time to follow up with patients. I have never received a response from him or his staff

I really like Dr. Haller and his office staff. Made me feel very welcome (after not having my eyes checked in 25 years!) I know it must be hard for doctors to deal with many patients and insurance companies, but having a great bedside manner AND a great sense of humor makes for a fun and pleasant trip to the doctor's office. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Dr. Haller is a wonderful doctor and extremely thorough in his feild of medical eye care. He is also a wonderful human being. I needed an ophthalmologist specializing in eye care immediately and he made himself available. I would highly recommend this great doctor. True professional.
