I was there for an hour and a half which was an hour too long. Dr Chandra didn't care that he had patients waiting. He should put time in his schedule for phone calls instead of making people wait.
He was knowledgeable, but his attention to the patient was lacking. At the end of my visit, he just got up and left. No good bye, nothing. That's customer service 101.
He provides a service to the customer. That is to say if it wasn't for the customer, he'd do something else. And I have the option to go to another doctor-- which I will do. I don't tolerate doctors who don't respect their patients.

Dr Chandra explained everything; pleasant, professional.
My only complaint was the amount of time I waited to be seen.
I had a possible emergency, called the office to communicate my possibility of appearing late.
Was told I'd only be given a 15 minute grace period.
Fortunately, made it before time. Yet waited an hour and a half to be seen by doctor.

I visited Dr Chandra because he is a Retina specialist. About a month ago I woke up experiencing flashing gold light to the left of my eye, and after my own research, that could mean a retina detachment. He is monitoring me closely to ensure that my eye is ok. He explained what exactly was happening and why. After a thorough checkup today, and without telling him how I am feeling, he said the images seem to look better and he is correct because is exactly how I felt.
So far the issue seem to be resolving on its own. I will follow-up with him in three months. I feel safe that I am under his care.

Dr. Chandra took his time while providing my tests, asked me about any concerns, answered my questions and referred me back to my original prescribing Dr. for their input re their speciality. The wait time was a bit more than I would have wanted, but I believe that is due to Dr. Chandra taking his time with all of his patients to provide through and a complete visit.

Unbelievably professional and competent. I had a small retinal tear that was immediately addressed. Dr. Chandra explained this issue and conducted the laser treatment to repair my tear at the appointment. I didn't have to come back. No discomfort or pain! It was fascinating! Thank you.
