Office personal were respectful and pleasant. My husband and I are very impressed with Dr. Hoffman. He's very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. He takes time to explain everything to us and we don't feel as though he is in a rush. I would recommend him!

I had a great experience. I was told I had a cyst on my eye and they removed it same day. Even if I do have to pay out of pocket cost, the price I was quoted wasn't too bad. Highly recommend! Everyone was super friendly.

Wonderful staff! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Hoffman was clear and comforting in supporting my vision. I am excited to move forward with my work up. Had to wait in front waiting room for 40 min to be called but left very satisfied with my care!

From the moment I walked into Ophthalmology of Clayton, I was treated with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. The front desk staff was welcoming and efficient, the clinical team was attentive and knowledgeable, and the doctor took the time to listen and explain everything clearly. From entrance to the end of my visit, the entire experience was smooth, comforting, and very well organized. You can truly feel that patient care is their priority. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for excellent ophthalmology care.

I came to this location the night after ending up in the ER with a severely scratched cornea because it was the only one with an early same-day appointment. Because of the urgency and seriousness of the situation, I've been to multiple locations because I needed same-day appointments or I needed to follow a doctor to another location. Overall my experience was good, they really did help to heal my eye which I am extremely grateful for, and I will go back regarding the aftermath of this injury, but I'm reviewing the Clayton location for a specific reason: I felt like I was treated as "drug seeking." For anyone who has ever scratched their cornea, you know it's painful. Mine was excruciating. When I arrived at my first appointment I said I made the appointment because the pain was far worse than what I was made to believe in the ER. The doctor's immediate and only response was "well, the thing about opioids is they won't actually reach your eye." But I didn't ask about opioids, I just said I was in a lot of pain. At that point I was in too much pain to even challenge it, so I got nothing. Everyone I've spoken to who has scratched their cornea or known someone who has told me they received some kind of pain management, but even with how bad mine was (and it was certainly much worse than what anyone I know has experienced) I got nothing and I almost felt like I was being scolded. I can't go back in time now, but if I could I would have pushed harder. I have no history of "drug seeking behavior" that should have caused red flags, I've never even been prescribed opioids outside of major surgeries, and I firmly believe I should have been given pain medication. Multiple people I know have been shocked to hear I received nothing and have even gone so far as to call it negligence to leave me in that much pain. I hope that was just a fluke because no one should have to go through the pain I did. But I do think it would be valuable for doctors to stay abreast of industry standards because, though I'm not expert, from what I've read it seems like the standard is to provide pain management and I don't know why I was left without it.

Everyone was great from the front desk check-in to each step it took to to get to see the doctor. Then the surgery scheduler was very informative and efficient. My overall experience was Pleasant. It's amazing how the check-in registration can set the tone for the whole visit and it totally did.

This was such a wonderful team to work with from the Front desk to Dr. H. We laughed they understood my concerns and took the best care of me. I am truly grateful for each of them and can not wait to go back again. Dr. Hoffman you are truly in the right field of work. As a new patient it honestly did not take long so that was great

The staff is very nice and the staff in the back with the doctors are very friendly and professional. The people I have referred Dr. Bowman to really like him and think he is a great person.
