Coastal Eye Center

I have worked with Dr Verdi and Dr Franklin, for cataract surgery. They were diligent in the prognosis and elimination of glaucoma. I wouldn't buy glasses from them, but the Drs., staff and other personnel are great.

The doctor was very nice, but good luck gettIng glasses or contacts ordered. If you are a working family this place isn't for you! The optician does not regularly work and when I requested my prescription to be sent to me to order glasses elsewhere I was told nobody could do that for me today. I needed to request my own prescription via voicemail. Poor poor customer service. We will be moving elsewhere!

Coastal Eye Center was recommended to me after having to wait from Jan. 23rd. through March 12th. for glasses, at another eye center in town, which I never received. For the most part I dealt with Amy; I'm not sure why some negative reviews have been posted on Google. I will say there so many Self-centered, egotistical, inpatient people in this world; I venture to say these reviews come from them whom wouldn't bid you the time of day if their life depended on it. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Amy. From the start, she knew the situation I was in. She was more than helpful, extremely kind, courteous not to mention very professional in the way she performed her job. I was told 2 weeks for my glasses to arrive and two week it was. In short; don't always believe what you read. Meet and converse with that person than form your opinion! Amy, Thank you so very much for everything you have done! It may be better service if you are a patient there, but the eye glasses center does not take outside prescriptions. Not sure if I've ever seen that anywhere before. Oh well there are other places to buy glasses. Well, I was trying not to say this but after looking at other reviews about the lady working in eye glasses section being rude, I'll say she was very rude to us too. Maybe had a bad day. In today's world and my age, I've come to appreciate good customer service regardless if it cost me more too.

This has got to be the worst eye care center around. The front desk staff is friendly, but the techs and the doctor are a joke. They couldn't care less how long a person has to wait. We waited over an hour and 20 minutes to spend a total of three minutes with the dr. and when I voiced my concern about the wait to him, his response was "I can't say that I'm sorry." That was so rude I couldn't believe he said it. We will be finding a new doctor!! Don't waste your time with this place!

I have been a patient for many years. Excellent practice. Staff and doctors are professional and caring. Very short wait time to be seen. I even had an emergency once (a film / lens that had been applied on my eye for a treatment had shifted and wrinkled causing extreme pain and discomfort) and they saw me immediately. Corrected the problem and alleviated my pain. Highly recommend this practice.

I was evaluated for cateract surgery. Exam was thorough, Dr. Pare evaluated and concluded both eyes needed to be done. He and the staff were very helpful and polite. He explained the procedure and timeliness. I was very impressed with Coastal Eye Center...

My wife and I are new to the area. We made appointments at 8:30 and 9:00 am as my wife is disabled and can't sit for long periods. Thinking if we make early appointments there is a better chance of them being on time. I could not have been more wrong. At 9:15 I finally asked how much longer it was going to be and if I could cancel. I was told it would be at least another 10 minutes. So for an appointment a half hour after opening the wait was going to be an hour. God only knows how long we would have been there for my wife's 9:00am appointment. Again, she can't sit that long and isn't that why you make an appointment in the first place? If they can't get something as simple as scheduling appointments right how in the world is anyone supposed to have any faith in the rest of it?
