First I want to say that Dr Jaffry and the staff in the back are amazing. The white lady at the front that helps check you out and pick your glasses needs to find a new job. She is not professional and she huffed at least 3 times while I was walking around looking at frames. I was not able to get my progressive lenses because she said there was no such thing as what I have in my current frames from another optical establishment. As much as I love the Dr and his staff, I will not be returning. Looking at other reviews of this same person, you should probably consider getting someone better suited for the front. I will be returning to my previous eye doctor that can provide the proper lenses I need.

!!!!EDIT: I want to clarify that you have not reached out to me by phone or email. I have all email threads and call logs to confirm this. While it may sound good publicly to say that you've contacted me, the fact is--you have not.!!!! The lady who called me to give me that bogus information about not accepting my insurance her name is Marie !!!! I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent experience with your office. I received a call from your secretary informing me that my upcoming appointment on November 11th at 8:20 a.m. had been canceled, as the doctor allegedly stated that my insurance would not be accepted. I was told I would need to either self-pay or cancel the visit. This was both confusing and disappointing, as I am a disabled patient with UnitedHealthcare Dual Complete PPO, which provides full coverage including a $400 vision benefit. I have been seen at multiple My Eye Doctor locations since 2023 under the same plan without issue. Given that other offices, at different My Eye Doctor, locations do accept UnitedHealthcare Dual Complete, I am deeply concerned that this cancellation may reflect bias or a lack of consistency in patient treatment. Patients with disabilities and valid insurance coverage deserve to be treated with fairness and respect, not made to feel excluded or unwelcome, including a foreign last name! I would appreciate clarification on your facility's policy regarding UnitedHealthcare Dual Complete PPO and an explanation for why my appointment was canceled despite my coverage. Very disappointed with the way they gave me my new glasses!! The lady just handed them to me and walked away to go help someone else. The frame was bent and my wife and I could clearly see it but when we were able to ask her about it she looked and said well they might be a little bent. She did try to fix them but never took the time to ask me how I could see thru them. Dr Bailey was excellent with the exam but just a shame that the rest of the staff isn't that friendly and helpful

Probably the best first visit to a medical office of any kind I have had! Everyone was super friendly from the receptionist to the tech who started my exam to the intern that did the main exam and the optometrist when he came in at the end. Not just professional friendly, really genuinely friendly and chatted. They asked if I was ok with having an intern do the exam, as they have basically finished school and I just needed a regular exam I was fine and she was great. Of course they made it clear she was consulting with the doctor and as I said, he came in to chat at the end. Usually checking out at the optometrist they do a hard sales pitch for contacts and glasses and I almost have to beg to be given my prescriptions so I can order myself, but not at all here. Super friendly and easy checkout, was just all around a great visit!

Always get glasses from the Vandora Springs office. Went in as a walk in for Sun glasses. Jennifer was Great!! She was professional, knowledgeable and made the experience easy to deside. Will make sure she is there when I pick up my New sun glasses. She is a breath of fresh air for this location.

Hey so I have been coming to This location on Vandora Spring dr for about 2yrs because I was no longer happy with the one in Knightdale. But let me rave about Luis he is one of the best super helpful very friendly and always has your concerns met he every single time I go me an my sons come out happy your not just another number or customer he makes you feel like family & the best part is he will remember who you are. Thank you Luis for always making sure that our needs were met at My Eyedr. Until next time thanks you

Get ready for a 2-3 hour visit and staff attitudes! I adore Dr. Bailey and he has kept me there for almost 10 years, but between the wait, pushiness, and the front desk staff rudeness, they finally broke me. It's time to move on somewhere more respectful. Sarah is top notch though-kudos to her for sticking in there! Promote this girl!! Note: I don't submit reviews without First talking to the team, so if they respond with surprise and "oh my goodness how can we help", it will be humorous.

Went in for an appointment and was told that I had a virtual doctor. My insurance was about to run out because I switched jobs so I stayed even though I didn't feel right. They gave me my prescription and I bought a years worth of contacts and paid the bill in the clinic. Turns out the prescription is way too strong and thankfully had a few boxes of my previous prescription. Another location wouldn't take me in to fix this and insisted I travel back to the other office to have them see me again. I refuse to go back. So now I have wasted money, contacts that gives me an headache/eye pain if I use them, and have recently received a bill stating I owe more??? Very terrible experience. This was in a Durham location. Garner location wouldn't take me in to fix the issue.
