We rated a 1 star only because you can't give a lower numerical number! My wife scheduled and appointment about a month ago for Fox Eye Care in Goldsboro NC. She received a confirmation email which she clicked the button to confirm. 2 days prior to the appointment, she then received a phone call asking to confirm her appointment again. She selected #1 and was told confirmation complete. The day of the exam 2 hours prior to to her exam time. This time it was not a confirmation but we will see you soon. We drove 105 miles to attend the appointment. We arrived 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment. At that time we were told her appointment had been canceled due to not confirming the appointment. We shared the emails and told them of the call. That did not matter to the manager. She simply repeated we can't do anything for you. After several attempts to work with them we were simply told I can't help you. The worst customer service I have ever experienced with eye care. So we left the store and walked into Lens Crafters to request corporate contact information. We were told there was no corporate ties between the two companies. The Lens Crafters manager began to get corporate contacts for us when the Fox Eye manager walked through. The LC Manager tells us the FC Manager works for him. Now wait just 5 minutes ago he said they are not corporately tied together. We get the contact info from LC and leave. We were then able to locate a new eye exam company just 2 minutes down the road and they were happy to let us come in and completed her exam and we purchased two sets of glasses. There is alternatives to Lenscrafters Goldsboro. Lenscrafters will never have the opportunity to make glasses for us nor will Fox Eye Care have the opportunity to perform an exam. I will always voice my opinion to anyone we pass looking for a good Optometrist.

I really had a good customer service experience. Sarah was really nice and accommodating. However the only problem I have is that I wasn't aware of the extra expense I had to pay for a contact eye examination ($149) when they knew when I came in I had on contacts bc we had a whole conversation about the contacts. I have never paid that much for an eye contact examination along with my glasses examination. Granted I have new insurance however. the insurance recommended this place, I was under the impression that it covered both (not at len Crafters where I was recommended). I was just glad I was able to pay (210) for eye care bc someone else may not. Please fully disclose what someone eye care fully covers before rendering services. If you knew after I completed service that means you knew before I started. Thank you have a Blessed Day!

This review is for Fox Eye Care in Goldsboro NC. I have never had such a bad experience in my years of Vision testing. If there was a lower rating I would not even give them a 1. I scheduled an appointment about a month early. I received emails asking me to confirm which I did. The day before the exam I received an automated call and I once again confirmed I would be there for the appointment. The day of the appointment I received yet another email this one is not a confirmation email, simply we will see you soon. I drove 105 miles to be seen by the Optometrist. Made the appointment time with a 20 minute early window only to be told my appointment had been canceled and given to someone else. I showed all the emails to show I had confirmed the appointment and asked to be put back into the schedule. The manager informed me there was no way to be rescheduled or worked in. After several minutes of back and forth, I left their office. I stepped into Lens Crafters to request corporate contact for 6the Optometrist. I was told there was no connection between Lens Crafters and the Optometrist. Then the manager for the Optometrist walked through Lens Crafters and the manager for Lens Crafters stated he was her manager. Now wait a minute just 5 minutes ago he told me corporate was separated for the two. How can he now be her manager? Lens Crafter and the Optometrist has lost our business and anyone I talk with asking for recommendations. Fortunately I was able to get an appointment just down the road with a competitor, so my 210 mile round trip was not completely a waste. Could not believe the complete disregard for a customer!

Staff and doctor were extremely friendly and efficient. I have had an eye injury in the past but felt very comfortable with the service I received. Highly recommend this practice.

Wonderful, everyone so nice and helpful. Best eye exam I have ever had. Very thorough.

Everyone is always friendly, I have been going here for a couple of years and my whole family likes going here.

If you have all day to waste then go , I waited 1 hour n 10 minutes before I walked out this place is a joke .

DO NOT GO HERE. I scheduled an appointment a month in advance and when I show up, they tell me my appt was canceled. They claim they called me but I NEVER had a voicemail telling me to call back to confirm (I work Monday-Friday FULL TIME) and NEVER got a cancellation email. They act as if this appointment was not scheduled in advance and as if it wasn't important.
