They are a little bit expensive, but every exam and every pair of glasses have been perfect. I get a thorough informative exam and then get to enjoy picking out my new glasses. The staff is so great with caring for patients and helping them to find the perfect style! This is a great place for comprehensive eye care and I highly then for you and your family!

I had a very painful problem with my eye. I had never been to the office. Brittany was able to squeeze me in and was so kind about it. Dr Bradford Hearn was very personable, appointment started right on time. This will be my eye doctor going forward. It was efficient, personable and my eye is already feeling so much better.

Buyer beware! Initially I had a good experience at this office with Dr Salazar and staff (except the irritable woman at the front desk) and I bought 3 pairs of glasses. I say initially because immediately after i began wearing the glasses I developed headaches. And within 3 weeks I developed migraines and ended up in the ER which resulted in a $2,604 out of pocket bill. I reverted to my old glasses and the headaches stopped immediately. I went back to the office several times and they were very sympathetic and made some adjustments, but there was no improvement. Eventually the optician determined that they had misread the prescription of my old glasses. They ordered glasses with a new prescription and those glasses worked with no more headaches. I talked with the office manager, Heather, and Dr Salazar about getting reimbursement for my ER bill. Heather was sympathetic to my situation and worked to find a solution but in the end they only agreed to compensate me for less than 20% of my out of pocket expense. So in the end I was out over $2,124 on top of paying for three expensive pairs of glasses. I so wish I could recommend Lakeside Eye Associates, but instead I can only caution that buyers beware.

The people are awesome. Nice, helpful, polite, thorough. Why a one star review? Spend hundreds of dollars with them but the doctor has set a policy you must pay to get your pupillary distance. Information they know and withhold until you pay them. It feels slimy and like they do not care about you as a patient.

Terrible customer service! Stopped by their office on 11/03/16 to make an appointment as a new customer. The Receptionist was not very customer friendly. I was quickly and rudely told she couldn't help me or make an appointment without an insurance card, which I didn't have with me. Turns out that my eye care insurance provider does NOT require members to present an insurance card! Went to another Optometrist office nearby and they were able look up my provider (VSP) and set an appointment in less than 2 minutes with NO insurance card!

Very poor service from the time you walk in until the time you walk out! The patient service is the worst I have ever experienced and my glasses have never been right. I wouldn't refer these folks to my worst enemy.

Scam, Scare-tactics and Upcharges, Stay away! -Pressured me to buy bottles of pills that the Dr 'prescribed' but later admitted it was vitamins for general eye health for $400 per year!--found the same vitamins online for $12. -Dilated my eyes without my consent. No warning, no explanation. I could not perform my job for the rest of the day. -Left me in the lobby for almost a half hour after dilating me, blind. -Over-billed. I kept saying that I only want what my insurance covers--left with a huge bill because I was blind and couldn't see what I was signing. Took me numerous phone calls and a visit to get bill corrected because they refused to follow my insurance guidelines and kept saying they couldn't refund my money and kept changing their prices. -Kept trying to up-sell me and and scare me constantly. Was told my sunglasses will cause eye damage and I must buy sunglasses from them. Was told I 'must' buy tests that are extra and not covered by insurance. Was told I must buy an entire year's worth of contacts right now because it's the best deal [though they are much cheaper online]. Was told I need numerous yearly appointments when my insurance doesn't cover that. Was charged $100 for 'contact fitting' even though I've had the exact same contacts for 10 years and the contact girl did nothing but give me the same contacts I came in with. Stay away!

This place is awful! They try to over-bill you on everything. Have to be very careful when signing paper work as they try to get you to do extra exams that aren't necessary for more money. Also tried explaining that I only wanted what my insurance would cover. Lady behind the desk went and spoke with optometrist because she didn't understand and still got overcharged. Had to call back to cancel and get a refund. Asked them to mail me my prescription and took weeks to get it!! Never had this problem anywhere else but here. Stay away!!! Had to edit this review and add something else. After waiting WEEKS for the prescription to come in the mail, opened it up and it had EXPIRED! Unbelievable. Ended up driving BACK to get it corrected. Terrible terrible place!
