I've been going here for many years. I love how thorough and meticulous Doctor Funderburk is. It's not just about vision, but eye health in general (melanoma check, diabetes...ex.) over the years they have added options for improved screening and vision testing as well. Finally, I love the many frame choices they have in their showroom. With the friendly and helpful staff, this place checks all the boxes for me, which is why I keep going here

I was unimpressed by the "service" provided by Dr. Funderburk. By service, I mean never looking at my eye and then charging me for an office visit. When I called initially to describe my issue, I was told that medical insurance would cover the appointment, as I was worried about potential injury in my eye causing blurriness. Once there, and after almost an hour and fifteen in the office being shuffled around, Dr. Funderbank explained that he had to do a full eye exam (which I had 7 months ago and would have been $135 before checking for any other causes). I respect Dr. Funderbank's medical opinion and the need to eliminate the obvious things first. My 1-star review comes from the disappointment in both how much time it took to get to that decision (about an hour and a half) along with Dr. Funderbuck's complete lack of kindness, willingness to talk through other affordable options or "bed-side" manner. I will not be returning.

I ordered my eyeglasses 18 days ago. Today I called them, it's time right!?! WRONG, my order was not placed correctly. They will reorder now. AFTER 18 DAYS!!! Why not try my luck at Walmart???

Drs. Funderburk and Price gave great care and the staff was extremely friendly. I would recommend this practice to anyone in need of a great eye doctor!
