Aycock Eye Associates, now part of MyEyeDr.

Came here at the recommendation of a friend and had one of the best experiences I could at a doctor's office. From the second I walked in: front desk staff was pleasant and I liked the atmosphere inside not feeling "corporate" like a lot of other ones, felt like I was walking in to see a family doctor. Dr. Aycock was very personable, and great at explaining what the results of different exams meant and my options for contacts; definitely one of the best eye doctors that i've been to see. Shoutout to Sarah (manager) and Sherry for helping me understand what my insurance will/will not cover and to get the best deals on frames + contacts. Special thank you to all the ladies working there for stopping what they were doing to help me pick out a pair of glasses that fits my face. Will definitely be returning!

I had a fantastic experience at Aycock Eye Associates. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire visit feel comfortable. Miss Gloria, in particular, goes above and beyond, greeting you with warmth both when you arrive and as you leave. I highly recommend this eye doctor and would give them even more stars if I could!

My family and I have been coming to Dr. Aycock for over 20 years he is an amazing Doctor I have no complaints for him. I have not had any complaints until now. I'm not one to write reviews but this needs to be said the front desk staff is very unpleasant. I've let it slide many times because we all have bad and I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I thought it was just me but from what I can tell from previous reviews everyone else thinks the same. She is very rude, dismissive, she also has a tendency to hang up and something needs to be done.

I walked in and the receptionist was nice up until I mentioned that my kids had Medicaid. After that, I got attitude given to me not only from her but everyone we came into contact with. Since this is the only place around that accepts it, you would assume that they would be more understanding but they absolutely weren't. However, I was very nice and still willing to come back next year when they were due for more glasses until our experience while leaving. We went to buy an eye kit and anti fog spray and the receptionist said "Those are $3 each. Do YOU even have $3?" Needless to say, they were very rude and unprofessional. I don't recommend going here nor will I be back. I will rather drive an hour out of my way to go somewhere else.

I have been going to Dr. Aycock for approximately 10 years with great results and this year has been a horrible experience since MyEyedr took over the practice. I went in November 2025 for a check up and picked out my glasses and paid for them. I am still waiting for my glasses to be corrected (February 2026). This is soo disheartening. I have to call them every week to check on the status. The customer service there is non existent now.

I have been coming to Dr Ayecock since I moved here from Nj 9 years ago. I introduced my father and my children and even referred patients from my previous job to this office. The last 3 years have been nothing but issues from billing to scheduling to even getting someone on the phone or a call back. I was rescheduled due to insurance showing another insurance howevrr I called my insurance and have a reference number tha states active and effective coverage, they refused to see me unless I paid self pay prices or reschedule becuase they knew the claim would be denied and wouldn't do an appeal to resubmit. Love Dr Ayecock but his staff and the office polices have me wanting to find a new office for eye care.

From the time my son and I walked in the door, I felt peace :) Starting with the Christian radio station, to the polite front desk lady, then the wonderful staff, then Finally the Amazing doctor :) Our experience was super outstanding and I look forward to future visits!!! Thank you!!!

I have been going here for years, but today the lady in the front was very rude and dismissive to me idk if it was because I'm of color or what I finally said nevermind she replied good.. i switched my doctor because I will not be talked to in such a way and you get my money!!
