If you are just going for an annual checkup/prescription update, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO TARGET OPTICAL! I had no changes in contacts, and they charged me $70 for a "contact fitting." I also got a referral from their own DO to their plastic surgeon (which they told me several times would be a $25 copay). They called me two days before the appointment to tell me it actually may be a $175 copay, depending on whether the plastic surgeon agrees with the referral from the other doctor. That is a $150 difference! Consults should be a set standard price and not change depending on the results of the appt.

Dr. Luke Peterson is the bomb. Patient and thorough and clearly explains things going on with your eyes. Suffered for a year with an uncomfortable eye that my regular eye doctor was at a loss to explain or help with. Dr. Peterson quickly identified my issue as a relatively common age-related corneal edema. OTC drops that he recommended gave me relief on day one. All this while being my glaucoma doctor. Needs to be more docs like him out there....
