I had my first visit at Phifer Eye yesterday and was totally impressed. The entire staff from the receptionist to the assistant to Dr. Phifer (son) were friendly, courteous and professional. They listened to concerns I had with my previous contacts and gave me some trial contacts to make certain they were perfect before I ordered. I chose to come to this practice because I saw they had such a large number of 5 star Google reviews. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!! Great visit!

Needed a new eye Dr after relocating to Monroe and found Dr Phifer. I am so glad I did, my examination was thorough and I had many questions that were answered completely. He also did not try to have me buy prescription glasses when readers would work for me. Dr Phifer was so very nice, helpful and has a great personality. I am so thankful to have found Phifer Eye! The staff are kind and helpful, and the doctor is very personable and compassionate. I was a first time patient calling in the morning with a swollen eye, and they had me worked in by midday! He did a thorough exam, was able to rightly diagnose my issue and treat it, and now, just over 24 hours later, my eye is already better!! I am booked to do my yearly with them now and am thankful to have found my new optometrist, since my previous one moved out of the area.
