Doyle S. Bedsole, OD

I've bought a few pair of glasses here. They have a wide selection range for men, women, and children including lots of name brands and quite a few sunglasses. They seem to have something for everyone including those with a small budget or an unlimited one. I haven't seen an optometrist here so I can't review those services, but the services in the glasses area is truly outstanding. The same people have been there for years. They are friendly and honest. I've shopped at most of the glasses retailers in the Triangle and usually end up buying here. My only complain is their hours. They aren't open late or on weekends when many similar stores are open. Overall a five star experience.

Our family has seen to Dr Bedsole for years. He is thorough and explains each step during the exam process. I particularly like how he communicates with our kids explaining to them (and us) their vision needs and the options available to help them. I'm not fond of having to wear glasses so I usually get contacts but this year I really needed a new pair of glasses as a back up. They had a good selection of frames and excellent staff helping me. The prices were fair and I am very happy. Highly recommend.

I went to see Dr. Forsyth about five months ago. It has been my experience in the past that due to a lazy eye most other doctors have been confused by what I would tell them during eye exams, their tone of voice almost suggesting that I was lying to them when I reported one eye's sight so different from the other. I went to my appointment here thinking I'd spend a good ten to fifteen minutes clarifying my eyesight to Dr. Forsyth while he responded confusedly. Not at all. It was the quickest, probably most accurate eye exam I had had without my even having to explain previous doctor's confusion. And the staff helped me find frames that were reasonable (I did have insurance). I was very happy with the service and prescription, and the glasses have been working well.

Dr. Forsyth was very rude and condescending during my eye exam, so much so that I asked to be switched to the other doctor for my next appointment. Their office staff didn't even know which doctor I had actually seen; they told me at the time of my appointment and when I called back twice that I had seen Dr. Bedsole and that I would be switched to Dr. Forsyth, the one who made me so uncomfortable to begin with. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I know I will next time.

My husband and I have been "seeing" Dr. Bedsole for a few years now and feel we are under the very best care at the Eye Care Center. Great staff... great service!

I've been going to Dr. Bedsole for at least 12 years or so. He and his staff are very professional and personable. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my Optometric needs.

Dr. Bedsole and his team have provided my eyecare for over 10 years. Very knowledgeable and a terrific care provider.
