I recently came in as a new patient and EVERYTHING went as planned. The staff is amazing and the customer service is great. I had Dr. Bond, who is fantastic at what she does. She helped me out with putting contacts in for the first time and ensured I was satisfied with everything needed. The person who also helped me out was Dr. Jeanette, who taught me how to take my contacts out for the first time, while also helping me pick out new frame glasses that'll fits my face shape overall. GREAT experience for a first time patient, definitely would recommend!!
From start to finish, everything about my visit to the eyecarecenter in Garner was wonderful. Emma greeted me when I arrived, checked me in, and was also my tech--she was extremely sweet, helpful, and made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable.
Dr. Bond was fantastic. I truly can't say enough good things about her. She was incredibly thorough, took the time to make sure my prescription was exactly right, and was just genuinely fun to talk with--especially bonding over our shared love of Arizona and Taylor Swift. I really appreciated how attentive and thoughtful she was throughout the exam.
Jeanette on the floor was also lovely and super helpful. In addition, another wonderful staff member (possibly the practice manager, with shorter hair--so sorry I didn't catch her name!) went above and beyond by faxing an insurance affidavit to my employer for me. I'm incredibly grateful for that extra help, as it allows me to keep my annual discount.

Our brand new puppy scratched my eye on Black Friday and no one else was open. The staff worked me in and were so wonderful with my whole family. This office went above and beyond to help me in an emergency. Every visit since the staff has been amazing.
I made an appointment one year ago for them to call me 4 days before the appointment and tell me they no longer accept my insurance. Also, the last time I went it was incredibly gross and unprofessional. They didn't wipe anything down. I could see the makeup left from the pervious person.
Don't go here.
I had an annual appointment scheduled for today. When I called to verify the time, I was told it had been canceled because I "didn't confirm." When I asked how the confirmation was supposed to happen phone call or email I was told, "I don't know, ma'am." I never received a call, email, or any type of notification.
Because of my work schedule, I had to take an entire day off just to make this appointment, and it ended up being for nothing. The lack of communication and organization is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Patients shouldn't have to chase down basic information or lose work time because of office mismanagement.
I had an appointment in Feb 2025 while pregnant and due in April, so it was very important to me to have my contacts ready. I went to my appointment, paid in full as usual, but a month went by with no contacts. Every time I called, I was given a different excuse. Finally, one rep said she would replace the order, but even then there were more excuses, and I did not receive my contacts until the very week I was giving birth.
A few days after returning home from the hospital, I received an invoice saying I owed for the contacts--even though I had already paid in full. When I called to ask why, I was told my insurance must have changed (it hadn't I've worked for the same company for over five years). I suggested maybe they accidentally double charged since the order was resubmitted, and the rep very rudely told me, "We didn't double charge you!"
I then called my insurance company, who confirmed with their office in NY that I had in fact been double charged. They fixed the issue and even had a rep personally call and apologize.
I don't know what's been going on with this office, but it was an incredibly stressful and unprofessional experience during an already sensitive time in my life. They really need to get it together.
Very good eyecarecenter , highly recommend for a visit . Front desk service was great , didnt take long for my son to be seen . They checked his eyes was able to tell me exactly what was going on with results , it was a wonderful experience . They have great staff . Thank you
Receptionist Kim ROCKS! She was extremely helpful, enthusiastic and patient answering every single last one of my questions and cohesively loading me up with retainable information to prepare me for my upcoming appointment.
