Amazing experience here with Dr. Foo for a full eye exam and both new frames and contacts. She went over my eye health history with me and reassured me about some concerns that I'd had, which I greatly appreciated alleviating. Gave me good advice and answered all of my questions very thoroughly. She and her tech were both extremely friendly. The tech (kicking myself for not remembering her name) was so incredibly patient with me and took the time to explain my insurance in several different ways until I understood . My glasses even came in quite a bit sooner than expected and the pickup was super quick and easy. Will be returning

I've been going to this MyEyeDr. location for at least three years and have always had good experiences with both the doctor and the front desk staff. However, my most recent appointment was handled very unprofessionally. I scheduled my appointment online and later received a text asking me to confirm or cancel. I accidentally tapped "Cancel," but I immediately called the office to explain the mistake and confirm that I still wanted the appointment. The person I spoke with assured me everything was all set -- and I even received an email confirmation afterward. When I arrived for my appointment (which I had to take off work for) the front desk person told me my appointment had been cancelled. I tried to explain what happened, but she didn't make any effort to check the system or clarify the situation. She simply repeated that the appointment was cancelled, giving me the impression that she didn't believe me. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the mix-up. She offered to schedule me with a virtual doctor instead, which was not what I originally booked. Even if this was just an honest mistake, it would have made a huge difference if someone had taken the time to listen, explain, and apologize. It's disappointing to feel dismissed after being a loyal patient here for years.

The staff here is awesome. The front desk are always so friendly. The doctors are great and take plenty of time to make sure you have the right script...and then the workers on the floor will spend as much time as you need helping you with frames!! The prices are also reasonable and I don't even have insurance. I have returned mine before and no hesitation...they replace. It's great.

It's actually quite appalling how rude everyone you interact with here is besides Dr. Jaffery. I'm not sure if they have a quota to meet of how many pairs of glasses, prescriptions, or exams they can sell but they will make you feel small at every turn. They will even talk about how you need to be educated in the hallway when they think you can't hear them. I would not recommend anyone to come here unless you want to feel threatened to buy something and made to believe another business won't be able to help you.

Had the pleasure of working with Marcus. Made my trip easy and quick and even gave me some pointers to add to the longevity of my eyewear. Great service.

The staff was excellent and Dr Jeffry is an awesome eye doctor. He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. I highly recommend him and My Eye Dr.

I scheduled an appointment online with MyEyeDr on Cameron St. I have Blue Shield insurance through NC State (RA/TA). When I arrived, the receptionist handed me paperwork to fill out. After finishing, I was told there would be a $70 copay. I explained that my plan covers one annual eye exam at no cost (a friend with the same insurance had just done this), but instead of listening, she brushed me off with "everyone's plan is different, blah blah." I ended up canceling the appointment right there. Later, I called my insurance, and they confirmed I was correct--the annual eye checkup is covered. Really disappointed in how this branch handled things. I recommend avoiding this location and going to one of the higher-rated MyEyeDr offices nearby. I wish I had checked reviews before wasting my time here.

Asked for my glasses to be shipped closer to my house, they confirmed with me where and still managed to send them to a completely different location thats the farthest from my house they could have managed. Very frustrated.
