Elle was phenomenal! She explained everything, asked questions, just an overall bubbly spirit. I LOVE THAT!! I highly recommend her! I normally go to the Brier Creek location but thinking of switching to this one. (Brier Creek had me waiting for 22 minutes, without any update. Once I asked, they told me another 10 minutes. Therefore, I scheduled here.) The front desk receptionist was awesome at the Glenwood Ave location. She kept me informed on the wait times. The office was clean. The doctor was great. He was informative & to the point.

Wonderful experience! I've had a TERRIBLE time with my eye doctors in the past and have just been ordering online with an old prescription. But age has caught up with me. Took a chance. Booked an appointment here. Could NOT have been MORE pleased!! Dr. Jamal was WONDERFUL! Reagan helped me pick out some great frames and was so positive and easy to work with. I had trouble adjusting to a progressive lens and had to come back in. Marcus spent over an out with me making sure my glasses were adjusted properly and that I did have the correct prescription for my needs based on my feedback after a few weeks. They already fit better. While there I witnessed others with compliments to the staff as well. I HIGHLY recommend this practice! Tip both all the way around!

Man...I've been coming to this office since 2012 and I've never once had a complaint until now. At my initial appointment, the staff at the desk was fine. My experience with the staff related to my exam was fine. But the service end of this office? Absolutely deplorable. The woman helping my husband and I after our exams wouldn't even speak to us and acted like asking literally one question about glasses frames was an issue. It's absurd how rude she was. But we chose our glasses and went through the process with her because we were just ready to get away from her at that point. Two weeks later, our glasses were ready and we picked them up. Yet again, the service end of the deal was awful. We were handed dirty glasses with no cases and this woman literally scoffed like we were a burden when I asked for glasses cleaner so I could clean them because they were dirty. She stomped off and returned with a bottle of cleaner but no glasses wipe to use said cleaner on the dirty glasses this business just handed us. Zero care involved to be sure that we could at least see. This woman clearly expected us to just let her hand us our glasses and then leave without verifying that we could see and prescriptions were correct. I asked about my sunglasses that had not arrived yet and she simply said they weren't ready and left it at that. We left and realized after the fact that my husband, in fact, cannot see with the glasses he was given. I don't know if the wrong lenses were put into his glasses at the lab or what, but two minutes of care from the employee might have been helpful in this situation. Fast forward to now, a month after the exam, I still have no sunglasses and went into the office to see what was going on. Apparently there's an issue with insurance that has caused a delay, and the office made zero attempts to notify me that there was a problem to begin with. I went in person and still had trouble getting an answer about what was going on and when I could expect my prescription sunglasses. It took a long time for the manager to bother to come out of his office (30+ minutes) to inform me of the insurance issue. He claims he worked out the problem (though I'm not sure I should believe him) and that the sunglasses would probably be ready in around a week. Ok, that's fine. Except sunglasses frames he was holding and said are mine were in fact, not what I had chosen and would not suit my needs. He vaguely tried to fix that by pointing out a pair of sunglasses that were the same but opaque instead of transparent frames with darker lenses. Still wasn't what I picked out and they're going to be too small but whatever, at that point I was way past frustrated and just wanted to get as close to what I needed as possible without extra fuss and trying to correct someone putting a random set of sunglasses in instead of what I picked out. From start to finish everything on the service/glasses end of working with this office has just been awful, which is a shame because I've been coming here for over a decade and never once had even a hint of a bad service experience before, I was always happy with the staff until this year. I guess my husband is going somewhere else for a 2nd eye exam to figure out the issue with his prescription, and I'll be ordering prescription sunglasses that are actually what I need from some online company. I certainly won't be even attempting to spend money at this business again. It shouldn't be this hard to go to an eye doctor and be able to purchase needed products. Mistakes can happen sometimes but that's where the customer service aspect should save the day, but the people working out front in this office obviously just don't care about doing their jobs well. Staff needs to learn to communicate as needed, and learn how to treat customers with a really basic level of politeness, and they apparently need to learn how to put glasses on an order that match what the customer handed to them instead of something entirely different.

Based on today's interaction. I probably won't come to this location again. I brought in a pair of classes that were damaged that I bought 8 months ago. I show them to the woman at the front desk and she immediately tells me no one here can fix them and to just super glue them together. (Um what?) I leave and bring them to a nearby eye doctor and they fixed them in 5 minutes. They couldn't believe someone at an eye doctor, especially where I bought them from, told me to SUPER GLUE my glasses.

After getting prescription from my annual exam I changed my mind from wanting to wear dailys instead of biweekly contacts. I called them multiple times to update my prescription and they said a Dr would work on it. It's been two weeks and I still haven't heard from them. Drive extra minutes if needed just skip this location

This was the worse experience with the staff at this office. Love the optometrist but the staff have the absolute worse customer service skills and respect. From ordering the wrong prescription contacts, rushing us thru picking glasses to trying to just hand us our glasses and almost pushing us out the door. When I told the tech that my daughter's glasses are crooked, she told me that "maybe her ears are not even" really????? We probably will be looking for a new optometrist after being with this one for over 18years.

When my husband went there their imaging was down and then told him he possibly had a medical concern without having the proper tests completed. He went back to get the imaging done and no one ever said anything else about the medical concern. No one called to follow up on the imaging and when he called they said everything was fine. Also the prescription they gave him was entirely too strong and he went back to have this looked at but was told to make an appointment but our benefits had already been used. A month later, we got slapped with a $140 bill with no explanation. Will never return to this location and do not recommend you to waste your time.
