I had a great experience at Porter ophthalmology! I got the lasik procedure done and now see 20/20 with no complications. Everyone here is so kind and caring. Dr. Porter is super knowledgeable and was able to examine me and recommend the best procedure for my specific eyes. During the surgery he was so calming that once I was in there I wasn't afraid and knew I was in good hands. I can't say enough good things about him or the staff. Would recommend to anyone

I was referred to Dr. Porter at Porter Ophthalmology by a colleague who had nothing but great things to say, and the experience absolutely lived up to the recommendation. I had the opportunity to meet both Dr. Porter and Dr. Sifrig. While I originally hoped to schedule my procedure with Dr. Porter, due to scheduling I ended up having LASIK performed by Dr. Sifrig--and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. This has been one of the best investments I've ever made. The entire staff was amazing, incredibly kind, and very accommodating throughout the whole process. Dr. Sifrig was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions, which helped put me at ease. I was definitely nervous the day of surgery (after all, you only get two eyes), but the procedure was so quick and seamless that I barely had time to panic. People aren't exaggerating when they say you're in and out within minutes. I went from not being able to read license plates on cars right in front of me to seeing 20/10 and 20/20--it was truly life-changing. While Porter Ophthalmology may be a bit pricier than other offices in the area, they are worth every single penny. I would do it all over again without a second thought. I can't recommend LASIK enough, and even more importantly, I can't recommend Porter Ophthalmology enough. Just do it--you'll thank yourself immediately after.

Dr. Porter did an amazing job completing my lasik surgery. Scheduling appointments was quick and convenient, everything was thoroughly explained, and decently priced. Yesi was awesome at reaching out by phone and email to answer any questions or reminders regarding appointments. All staff members were warm, polite, and welcoming. In addition to me receiving lasik, my oldest son also did and I'm planning making an appointment for my 19 year old. One of the best decisions I've ever made!

TL;DR: this team, especially Dr. Porter, are awesome in all aspects of modern vision correction. I had RK done in 1994, so I wasn't sure about having another operation. Dr. Porter and his team did an extremely thorough examination, for free. We discussed every aspect and option. Dr. Porter really took his time in the initial consultation AND during the Pre-Op meeting as well as the day of the surgery. I felt very comfortable and informed at every step. It's been about one month since I had a lens replacement. My eyes feel great and vision is excellent. Having done eye surgery twice, I feel picking the right team, especially the surgeon is the biggest decision. Without any hesitation and with my full enthusiasm I recommend Dr. Porter.

Corrective eye surgery is something I've wanted to do for a LONG time. I really thought I wasn't a candidate because of my high prescription. I underwent EVO ICL surgery 3 days ago and I couldn't be happier with the results and the entire experience. Dr. Portor's entire team makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed from start to finish. I especially liked how Dr. Portor talked to me during the procedure. In a very calm and composed way, he guided me through each step. I can't tell you how much this eased my nerves. It really is a testament to his skill and compassion towards his patients. I experienced no pain, no discomfort and almost immediately after, I was able to see. It couldn't have gone any better. It couldn't have been easier! This whole experience has been life changing. I'm so glad I made the decision to finally have this done. If your thinking about corrective eye surgery and want a highly skilled team that truly cares about their patients, I highly recommend you go with Dr. Portor and his team. They are truly the best!

I had LASIK surgery with Dr. Porter just 2 days ago and it was truly life-changing. I'm still in shock over how quick, comfortable, and seamless the entire experience was. I felt no pain or discomfort during the procedure, which was a huge relief. Although I was extremely nervous going in, Dr. Porter and his team were reassuring and supportive. They walked me through every step with confidence and care, making sure I felt informed and comfortable throughout the process. I began seeing more clearly just 4 hours after the procedure, and when I woke up the next morning, I could see perfectly without glasses or contacts for the first time in decades! I'm beyond grateful to Dr. Porter and his incredible team. Thank you for truly changing my life for the better!

About 2 months ago I had the SMILE procedure done here. I was unaware of LASIK alternatives before seeing Dr. Porter. I had an extremely smooth process leading up to and post-surgery. I was a -7 contact prescription my entire adult life, and now I can COMFORTABLY see 15/20 (better than the standard.) I can't recommend enough.

Porter Ophthalmology was excellent and simple. I was able to turn my vision around and I am so happy I decided to go with them. Dr. Porter made the procedure super easy and quick. Definitely would recommend them.
