Amazing cataract surgery outcome I want to thank Dr. Gupta and share a brief before-and-after observation following my right eye cataract surgery yesterday. Before surgery, my right eye had significant ghosting (called monocular) in my distance vision whille driving, watching tv, and even walking. Objects and text appeared doubled or shadowed, though the image would become clearer if I tilted my head way back--probably caused by my old worn out lens distortion. As of this morning after surgery, the change is remarkable. Distance vision in my right eye is exceptionally clear, with no ghosting. Images and color are so much brighter, sharper, and tv skin tones are noticeably more defined. It is like taking off bown tint sunglasses. The improvement in in just one day is dramatic. I'm very grateful for your skill and care, and I'm truly impressed by the outcome. I'm looking forward to my next left eye cataract surgery with astigmatism to see the same results in that eye. Thank you to your office and the entire Blue Ridge Surgery team including preop nurse Morgan, my anesthesiologist.

Excellent practice! Dr. Gupta treats me for dry eye, and her diagnosis and recommendations have helped tremendously. Dr. Gupta stays on top of the latest technology & tecniques in eye care and treatment. I fully trust her to manage my eyes, and if she sees any issues in future years, she will recommend the best & latest treatments. Merit does my eye treatments, and she is the best! Merit is very careful before, during, and after to ensure the treatment goes perfectly. Her skills make my eyes feel great! I recently worked with Fatin who was amazing! My insurance notified me of changes with my two eye drop prescriptions. I was dreading this, as changes to prescription insurance can be a nightmare. I worked with Fatin, and wow... Fatin took care of both my insurance issues perfectly! I told Fatin what the insurance company requested, she immediately got on it, and took care of everything. I don't know what Fatin did in the background, but it went super smooth and super fast! Thank you Dr. Gupta, Merit, and Fatin!

Dr. Gupta did a fine job with the surgery. I had great confidence in her skills. At times, I feel that her "bedside manner" could use a bit more polish. However, when you are great at what you do, bedside manner is secondary to a patient's confidence in the surgeon.
