Walmart Vision & Glasses

I just stopped in because my glasses were a little loose and asked if they could tighten them back up. The girl said ok. She brought them back out even looser than they were before. Now they slide down my nose when I look down. I purchased these at a Walmart in marion nc and they have been wonderful until just recently. The screws were a little loose and just needed tightening. I hadn't been able to find my tools so I thought to stop in on a whim. Never again. And I definitely will not purchase glasses from that optical center. If they tightened screws up but loosen the stems and change the angle of the earpieces. That does not help. I told her to never mind. I would fix them myself

Traveled from another town to specifically visit the vision center. Walked in the door 20 minutes before they were closed and was told that "due to the new computer system, it could take as long as 40 minutes to order glasses so they could not see us today". When we walked in there was 3 people working, 2 of which were doing nothing but sitting in chairs. I don't understand why (if it really took that long) why one person couldn't have been entering information in the computer, while one was doing measurements, etc. Will definitely order online or spend an extra hour driving to the next town. Some of us still appreciate good customer service.

Maybe they're fine for getting glasses, I don't know. But for the love of god, do not go here for your regular eye exams. During my appointment they told me that dilation was unnecessary, that seemed strange to me. So I went somewhere else, turns out I have glaucoma, which Walmart vision apparently did not care to check for. I don't write negative reviews easily, but I don't want to go blind, and don't want you to either.

I love this store. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I have been there twice in the past couple of months and received nothing but the best care. Elizabeth is excellent to work with. She was extremely helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend them. I went right in each time and was done very quickly. They also have great prices on glasses unlike were I have been before. The cheaper frames feel better and seem to be better quality.

Eye Dr is very professional and helpful. Went inside Walmart to vision center to order my prescription and all the staff were rude and unhelpful do not recommend.

The order taker was polite and efficient. And when I went to pick up what I'd ordered, it was promptly given to me. The only problem was in the interim they called to say they were having trouble having enough employees to work some days and I should call before coming to make sure someone would be there!

Really enjoyed the folks who worked here, but whomever the older gentleman is needs to be terminated. I've been able to get adjustments here for the past few years, bought there or online no problem. Suddenly it becomes a problem today. "Policy", yet the rest of your staff does it constantly? And then you can't even direct me to somewhere that is close by that will at least try and do something for me? Professionalism at its finest. LensCrafters is all the way in Asheville, suddenly it may be the only realistic option for getting some actual professionals to take care of your needs. Ridiculous.

I purchased glasses from Walmart, after bit got new lenses ( in my Walmart frames), after awhile one lens wouldn't stay in, stopped into Haywood Optical in Waynesville and was told the frames were worthless...thank you very much, motored on over to Walmart and the gal had no issues adjusting the frame and restoring my eyeglasses. So...designer shops are necessarily the best option. Thank you, Sylva Walmart.
