I was referred to Dr. Ding for cataract surgery. After she reviewed the different options for lens replacement, I chose the Adjustable Light Lens, a newer technology, in order to tailor my vision to my needs. Distance vision is important to me as I spend significant time outside, biking and hiking. I had both lens replaced, 1 week apart, along with glaucoma surgery. Dr. Ding is very meticulous and knowledgable, along with her technicians. I'm currently 10 weeks out from my surgery, with excellent far vision. I can comfortably view my computer and phone, only needing glasses for reading books. I couldn't be happier with my vision! I highly recommend Dr. Ding, especially if you are seeking the latest technology in cataract lens and a tailored approach!

My wife and I are both patients of Dr. Ding and have been for 4 years.
We both had successful cataract surgeries, however my cataract surgery was also combined with glaucoma surgery. The initial surprise / fear / questions of needing both surgeries, was quickly calmed by Dr. Ding's expert and compassionate explanation.
I have had numerous surgeries in my life (4 joint replacements alone....), so I 'know' expertise and professionalism when I see / experience it.
Dr. Ding is EXTREMELY thorough, and we would not trust our vision to anyone else!

After having been treated for glaucoma for 20+ years, my husband Arthur Marion was finally referred to Dr. Jiaxi Ding at Ascend Eye Center for treatment. Arthur's former optician told him that his eye pressure was okay, that he should just continue using an eye drop daily for his glaucoma. Only after seeking medical help which led us to Dr. Ding, did we find his pressure had been much too high and that his glaucoma was at a stage of severity, with 95% of his vision being affected in one eye. Dr. Ding immediately began treatment on him, and his eye pressure was soon reduced to an acceptable number. Dr. Ding later performed surgery on my husband, and the results were simply outstanding. We highly recommend Dr. Ding and her competent staff.

I had my cataracts removed in both eyes. The procedure has allowed to receive 20/20 vision WITHOUT the use of glasses. I have had to wear glasses since I attended 3rd grade. As I approached adulthood, I wound up wearing tri-focals until my surgery. Dr. Ding A very special person first time I came there. She's spent a couple hours with me going over everything and since then she's done both my eyes gotten rid of all the cataract in them. The whole staff is amazing. I love going there. I would recommend anybody to seek out this office and Dr. Ding do your cataracts removed? This is a very special place. I will always cherish the time I have spent there. They have changed my life for the best.
