It was a great experience, and this place has a wonderful energy that makes you want to come in and sit down and chat, buy glasses or whatever and just vibe there. It is a positive place and the people are cool and nice and you feel comfortable being is this positive space with these great and lively people. Try it out and see. You will make this your new vision home.
Also, I use a walker and this company is handicap friendly...you sit in one place and all the machines are on a turn table and come right to you..so if you are disabled, handicapped or disabled in anyway you are still welcome. Yes, they are plus size friendly as well..so go and get the best experience possible..You are worth it..it can be a great experience for all.

I had a great experience with Dr. Nguyen for my eye exam! Overall the staff was wonderful and I felt like all my concerns were taken seriously and addressed. I've had an optometrist dismissive of them in the past because I'm 'too young to have that issue', but Dr. Nguyen clearly explained a treatment plan with multiple over the counter options to try first.
This place has mostly indie, luxury brand frames. They are very expensive and the staff knows it and they are not pushy about getting glasses there at all. I was pleased to learn that they will put lenses in frames you bring in as well. The staff was very upfront about costs and gladly gave me a broken down quote for lenses. I had no issues getting a copy of my prescription or PD reading unlike other offices which you have to fight tooth and nail for. I highly recommend this location for folks needing an exam and glasses prescription!

Short version: C Distinctive Eyewear is hands down the best place around for optical services. Long version: I'm 66 years old, from the Triad region and have been buying glasses for over 50 years. That doesn't make me special but it should give you some trust in my review. I have purchased 4 sets of glasses from C Distinctive. Their services and products has been excellent each and every time. That's consistency. More importantly, C Distinctive made things right when things went wrong. Like most higher quality boutiques, C Distinctive depends on outside labs they use to make lenses and in one of my purchases, their lab dropped the ball. C took full responsibility for the errors and resolved my issues with grace and humility. If you want to really to judge the quality of any company's customer service, find out how they resolve inevitable problems that happen along the way and not just glowing words from reviews like this. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly, professional and above all sincere in their efforts to deliver the best service possible. I've shopped elsewhere enough to know this is true. Highly recommended.

When it came time to pick my new frames, Jessika listened to my financial situation & never pressured me to pick something out of budget, even taking their time calculating different price points. They price gouge glasses and contacts, cancel appointments you booked months before without availability to rebook, won't send you a your updated prescription for a month after your appointment (even after calling to ask for it 3 times), gave me contacts in the wrong prescription (once I didnt realize until I got home, the second time I caught it but the girl argued with me about it for a bit until finally checking with Dr.) and have an awful attitude any time you bring an issue to them. I've been a patient for over a decade with both Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Okeefe, I've stayed with the office because they have both been incredible doctors, but the front of house staff is the worst I have ever encountered in a doctor's office.

I never write Google reviews but I love this place. Evan is always wonderful to work with along with all other employees I have had experience with. They help me choose new frames by offering honest feedback and considering my preferences. I have been to similar boutiques in other cities that weren't willing to help or work with my classic, low-key style. C Distinctive has beautiful statement frames that I love but just isn't me for daily wear. They also have gorgeous classic frames that fit me perfectly - all of the frames I have purchased have been classic style with subtle details to make them unique. Always high quality. Eyewear can make or break your face and C Distinctive is the place to go to make you look great.
