Clear View Optometry

I have been a patient of Dr. Clerico for over 15 years, and I've always trusted his care. Ever since he moved to Clearview Optometry, the level of customer service has dropped tremendously. Every time I call, I'm either left on hold for 20-30 minutes or the phone just never gets answered. When someone finally picks up, the communication is unprofessional, and it's clear the staff doesn't prioritize patients or quality service. Honestly, I wish I could find the old staff--they were the reason I stayed so long. The experience was completely different back then. Unfortunately, the decline at Clearview Optometry has pushed me to take my business elsewhere.

It's unfortunate that the office is staff is so rude, manager included because Dr. Clerico is so nice and professional. I love his honesty and thorough explainiation of the exam. Victor is kind and super helpful. However, when it comes to the rest of the staff, manager included, I have NEVER been treated more rudely or unprofessionally in a medical office before in my life! I don't know what is going on with them but their unwillingness to help, constant lies and excuses oozes incompetenance. I have been put on hold, I have been hung up on and it's for these reasons I am leaving this practice. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

If you have medicaid please brace yourself to be talked to like a dog by Terry Ellington. He will insult you the moment he sees you and if you do not understand his medical terminology you will be insulted and belittled by him. I dont know who raised this guy but he is lacking in self decency. I've had eye exams all my life since I was little but this was the first eye exam and visit where I was made to feel so uncomfortable. Im absolutely astonished by people who claim their Christians and how nasty and rude they can be to a total stranger. With that being said the front office staff very unprofessional. The women with the black hair clearly doesn't know how or understand how to do her job. She tells me I have medicaid family planning which is wrong I have medicaid direct. Also if your a customer that has medicaid you will be treated less than and as an outcast especially by the eye doctor terry Ellington. Also the front staff will lie and say they sent you a text about your glasses ready for pick up. That is an absolute lie and I have proof there was no text phone call email regarding picking up my glasses. Im so glad I could do these people's jobs for them. Its no wonder they've got now hiring signs on their front door for front desk help. I completely understand the other bad customer reviews about clearveiw optometry. Extremely unprofessional eye doctor with very unprofessional staff.

came to this office a little over a month ago for an eye exam for contact lenses. the dr was very nice and professional and told me my lenses would be here in a about a week and i would receive a text or call. after 2 weeks i heard nothing so i decided to call (no one answered) and left a message. i never heard anything back so i decided to call again and no one answered. finally i received a voicemail saying they haven't gotten there and they would call me when they get there. it has now been a month and 2 weeks since ive been there and again haven't heard anything so i call and finally someone answers saying they haven't even been shipped yet. granted this is the holiday season and i understand shipping delays but i had the eye exam 2 weeks before THANKSGIVING and now it's a week from christmas and i need them desperately. after expressing my concern the man on the phone cut me off and basically said they'll get here when they get here and we'll call you. wouldn't recommend this optometry office when there is much more professional and kind staff at more reputable offices.

Went to get a copy of the paperwork for the glasses I had bought there early this year. Was told by the lady working the window it would take a few mins that the paperwork was coming from the back. I sat down and 45 mins later(5pm) I go back to the window and ask about the paperwork. The lady at the window(the same person) reached over and just printed it out. Why did she make me wait there for 45mins??? Why do you have to make an appointment to get your glasses adjusted? I will take my business elsey

Just wanted to thank Victor for helping me get some new glasses over the phone. I stay in Greensboro and did not want to drive to winston-salem. I was ready to move my doctor back to Greensboro. But the service i received from Victor and the doctor is ready keeping me there. Thank you guys. I hope and pray your new location is everything you want it to be.

My experience picking out the glasses were good. But then you try to call and they don't answer. I understand they were moving and told me to call Monday.Well, here it's Friday and nobody.What's up with this place??

I LOVE THE ACTUAL EYE DOCTOR BUT the staff........Customer service IS VERY POOR! Can't get in touch with anyone and when they answer you have to wait EXTREME amounts of time!! The person that answers will tell you something then the office manager or whoever they are will reply back with a nasty attitude saying something different! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL WOULDNT RECOMMEND!!
