This place is an absolute joke. Absolutely rude. The place is filthy. Will never be coming back here again. Stay away from this place especially if you have a low immune system.

I take my kids here because it's hard to find an eye doctor that accepts Medicaid. The staff is nice. But the wait is long, even after they call you back. It's like these people have never had to hustle before. If you have an appointment, you might as well clear out your schedule for the day. I don't mind the overall outdated vibe of the place. I really like the woman that does the eye exams for glasses. I'm not sure of her name. There is a bit of a language barrier. But she is always warm, kind, and talks us through everything. However I do find doctor Branch a little outdated. I recently brought my 6 year old in for a stye. He asked a few questions about his eye, but the other questions were about his life and it got awkward really fast. He asked my six year old if he had any crushes or had a girlfriend. Keep in mind, he's in kindergarten. He doesn't even know what a girlfriend is. Dr. Branch wrote a few things down, told us we were all set and began guiding us to check out with the receptionist. He didn't explain a single thing. I had to stop him and ask what the plan was. Even then there was very little explanation. I asked the receptionist if that was normal for him? And she just kind of giggled and said yes. On the flip side, the guy in the front that let's you pick out and order the glasses is really cool. He's a little odd, but we all are and my kids absolutely love him. Anytime we visit, we always say hello.

Overall staff that does the eye exam is pleasant, it's the receptionist that answers the phone that's very rude and disrespectful. I will never go back and neither will my family. She started yelling into the phone and hung up on me because I told her I did not like her and how she was speaking to me.

I just went here and it was the worst eye doctor experience I have had. First, they ask me if I have a case for my contacts and they found one and asked for it back after multiple times before I used it. I asked if it was new and Michael said yes however it was so odd to keep asking for it back. I threw away my lenses anyways due to sanitation concerns. Next I keep getting asked for my previous prescription. This is odd due to the amount of times I was asked. I said not and the first random sample of contacts I got my right eye was blurry. Next I go to pay and the women doctor says she is not ordering samples and is handing me the prescription. I say no I need samples due to the blurry eye sample I got. Needless to say I find this extremely concerning. This prescription is so far from my old one I am scared to even try the samples. Now I am worried I will have to pay out of pocket to get another contact prescription at a more clean and professional establishment. Look at more reviews that was my mistake I didn't check the reviews since I thought it would be a nice clean eye doctor downtown winston but I was horribly wrong.

Very unprofessional. The parking is hard to find & that wasn't really the problem until you enter this unfriendly environment. When I arrived the receptionist wasn't pleasant. She look like she didn't want to be there. We just stared at each other until she finally ask if I had appointment? Very dry. I ended up walking out. Not recommended.

This eye "doctor" is a joke. Rude, dismissive. Not honest. I have bells palsey which can be painful when the OPTIC nerve is inflamed. I have had it since I was 12, flare ups can be painful to my face. This ridiculous "Dr" told me I was lying, that bells palsey doesn't cause pain. He is wrong and I feel he should know that inflation of any nerve can cause pain. He needs to return to his studies.

Do not use them, they are slow and the guy in the little office when you first walk in will lie to you about your glasses. I was told my glasses would be back in about a week or two, a month and a half later he finally called me back after calling him just to tell me to wait another week. I will never never go back.

Doctor is GREAT! But the wait times are awful. Been going quite a few days here for a cornea abrasion, when I was in extreme pain it's the only time I was seen in an instant. Today my appointment was at 10:45 and it's 12:15 and no doctor yet.
