Spent 2 hours here for a simple contact prescription. While waiting for the doctor tech told me she was unable to know how long it would take and she would routinely not get an answer on timing whenever she asked. Doctor was nice when I eventually was able to talk to her but very limited by what she could actually do since it was a virtual exam. Even at the end after being in the office for ages I was made to wait in the waiting area for a salesperson to come and attempt to upsell me. When I asked to just please check out and leave the manager did come over. I explained my frustration and she kindly gave me a discount. Which while appreciated as a gesture, it does not give me back the two hours of my life that I wasted here. I cannot recommend against this place enough. It is clear that corporate greed is pushing for more appointments than they can handle and the staff, doctors, and patients are left to suffer because of it. I will never return. I will be seeking a private owned eye doctor explicitly because of my experience here today. (And if corporate has the audacity to blame anyone in this facility other than whomever is pushing for more appointments in less time, everyone will see through your flimsy reply. Change your policies or don't reply with "we're sorry you didn't have the experience we strive to give blah blah blah")

Dr Hannah Bowser. After my awful experience with Eyecare Center, I went to Dr. Bowser on Harvey Street. It's just right off of Stratford Road. Not only is she pretty as a picture. I'm a 63-year-old woman so you know not to take that the wrong way.! But she was right on time, didn't have to wait on her! she was very conversive and interested in my life. She explained things that she needed to do during the exam in a way I could understand. she did the exam quickly, efficiently and was just very pleasant to be around, as well as her staff. Her staff was outstanding. There's just not enough good things I can say about this place or this eye doctor. So if you need a good eye doctor. She's your girl. She also had a little extra time so she came out and helped me pick out my glasses. However, she did explain this was not normal. The person behind me just didn't show up. But most eye doctors wouldn't have even done that.

My normal eye doctor couldn't fit me in when I needed to be seen so I decided to try this place. The employees were very nice, but the doctor sees you via Zoom. They didn't have my contact lens prescription in office, so they put me in the wrong powered lenses, corrected the wrong prescription with some glasses, and had me read the letters again. When I couldn't see well, we had to wait for the Zoom doctor to be available again. When I said I couldn't read the line he asked me to read, he insisted I guess what the letters might be and declared the prescription correct. The technician told me to come back in a week to be rechecked, but the reason I went to this office was because I'm not available to go to the eye doctor for several months. Again, the in person staff is outstanding, but I can't recommend this place for people who actually want to see a doctor and feel confident in their prescription.

I was a MyEyeDr patient for about 5 years, and, over the years, spent thousands of dollars there on exams and glasses. There were bumps along the way: once, I was about 2 minutes late and they told me that my appointment was canceled. That frustrated me because I've sat there waiting long past my appointment time on many occasions - but that's supposed to be acceptable. On another occasion, as a patient of several years, I called to make my annual exam and they insisted I had never been there. They talked to me like it was my mistake. Even after admitting that they misspelled my name in their system, they were not apologetic about the way they had talked to me. At my last appointment, they did not have the frames I wanted in the color I preferred, so I went ahead with purchasing the less preferred darker frames with the intention of ordering a second pair in the color I preferred from an online retailer. When I tried to log into my account to get my prescription, it wouldn't let me in, so I called the store. After being on hold for about 5 minutes, the rep said that my name was still misspelled in the system. After correcting that I was able to log in and get my prescription, but I still needed my pupil distance. When I asked the rep for it, she said "we don't have that in our records, so you'll have to come in and let us measure that for you." I said, "Of course you have it; you just ordered the glasses I'm wearing." She put me on hold for 8 minutes and came back to say, "I spoke to the tech and he said you'll have to come in and sign a release form for us to give that to you." I told her I believed that was an attempt to make it difficult for me to order glasses from a different company and that it was the final straw and would cost them a long-time customer. Her only reply was, "Have a nice day, Goodbye." I sent an email to their corporate customer care address and received no response. I will never go back.

First time going to this MyEyeDr. I got there a few minutes before my appointment time, so I expected to wait a little bit. But after talking to the front desk and filling out some documents, I got seen pretty quickly! I got seen by Max, who had Ashley shadowing him, and they were both so kind and informative. They got me ready to see Dr. Matt in a short time. Dr. Matt is also just as informative and kind. He answered every question I asked and was very gentle with my exam. After that was done, I went to Holli to finish up my appointment. Like all of the previous people here, she was so kind and helpful. She assured me that insurance would cover today and any other appointments following my Keratoconus diagnosis. She assured me that if I had any questions or any issues with upcoming bills or appointments, I should call the office and they would sort it out for me. Thank you to Max (and Ashley), Dr. Matt, and Holli for making my experience here smooth and welcoming!

She chased us down because my daughter left her stuff in there she was the real mvp lol. Really good customer service bought my whole family glasses from them. Will be back.

Sarah J was the representative that assisted me with my glasses . I will be connecting with her each time I come to this location due to her being so politely and friendly . I will recommend her to family and friends.
