Have been a patient here for about one year. Appointments take HOURS, even when they say it will be "quick". On my last visit I waited an hour past my appointment time and still wasn't seen after many patients arriving after me were seen before me. Receptionists don't seem to care if you're unhappy or being skipped over. Doctor Richards was a referral because I was told he would be more aggressive with treatment, but in one year he has failed to do anything different than my previous provider. If you do need to schedule or reschedule it is about impossible to get someone on the phone to do so. Very dissatisfied and would not recommend.

The ophthalmologist was great and ordered an outpatient imaging study for me based on my exam. Office staff at PRS are horrible. The Tech who was supposed to schedule my imaging study forgot to submit prior authorization to my insurance so I had to cancel my imaging appointment one day before the exam. Then they didn't send an official referral to the imaging center so i couldn't get rescheduled for the study. I've had to call the office dozens of times trying to get someone to help me and they keep sending me in loops to answering machines and endless phone trees. All I wanted was to get the imaging study the doctor said I should have and now it's been weeks after my eye appointment and nothing has been done.

On Monday, September 15, my mother had an appointment with Dr. Richards. (He is a very caring and compassionate doctor.) All the staff members who had been with Dr. Richards even before the move, are wonderful! But the new staff members are rude and uncaring. We arrived at the checkout desk at 5:00pm, and a young receptionist said, "I just clocked out. Someone else will have to check you out." There was no one else in the reception area to help us. A young man walked by and took my mother's folder and said he would take care of it. Plus there was another couple who walked up right after us who also needed help. I hope all the doctors in this practice realize how their patients are being treated once they are out of their care.

On May 2 2025 I experienced a retinal detachment in my right eye. Since the right eye was the eye that i see most of my vision out of, I was in serious trouble. Friday afternoon and DR. Charles Richards was my saving grace. He was on call thank God and that evening I had surgery. His expertise and manner were very apparent and I knew I was in good hands. I now have my vision back and he has been with me with follow ups and patience. I have no words to express my appreciation for his surgical expertise. If you need quality care for your eyes Dr. Richards is incredible. Thank you Dr. Richards.

No issues with doctors in this practice. My issue is with the practice overbooking patients. There is no reason a patient should have to wait over an hour to be pulled back from the waiting room...for you to be seen by a tech to wait in a waiting room again. They actually publicly advertise that your appointment will be 2-3 hours, because so much of that time you are waiting in a waiting room. This is a very displeasing practice to patients. In the year I have come here, nothing has changed.

Dr Haines is a good doctor. Explains everything and takes his time with procedures. His returning phone calls needs a little work, but, I'm sure being as busy as he is, it takes him awhile to return calls.

If you like to show up on time and wait for an hour then this is the place. Their time is way more valuable than yours. It's not an exception. It's the rule. Worst wait time of anywhere I have ever been.

I have been currently going to this clinic for two years now a little over two years, and Dr. Richards has been wonderful to work with to me. He's the best eye doctor there is! I appreciate your help Dr. Richards with my vision I was legally blind in my right eye now I'm have my vision back. I know it's God, but he uses Doctors to do things.
