Broad View Eye Center - Berea

I love Broadview Eye Center. They are professional and you never have to wait. I have been seeing Dr. Scott for almost 20 years and she is the absolute best, she genuinely cares about her patients and takes her time. I have also seen their other doctors and they were all great. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding eye care.

The staff is always warm and welcoming when you come in, greeting you immediately. Dr. Nicolette Scott administers a very thorough eye exam, and explains everything that is going on. She answers all of your questions and shows true concern for your vision health. I have a tough time finding glasses that fit comfortably, and this time I worked with Katie...she was extremely patient and very helpful, and made sure this next pair will fit perfectly!

Such lovely customer service. Dr Wiersma is wonderful, he explained everything and even gave me an understanding of what to expect as I age. ( 2036 ) Their frame selection is exceptional and covers all budgets. Thank you team

Everyone was so nice. I was able to get a last minute appointment. With the exam and picking out new frames, I was in and out in less than an hour! The doctor was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease, and even showed me my eyes scans.

Able to get in quickly due to a cancelation. Online scheduling and registration eas very smooth. Staff was welcoming. They listened to my needs and discussed. Optometrist was engaging, thorough, and made reasonable recommendations, explaining them clearly. Optician listened very well and helped me pick out exactly what I need and was looking for. Went for my annual eye exam...super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Dr Scott helped me adjust my prescription and deal with dry-eye issues. I picked out new frames and the optician offered expert advice on what frames looked good with my face and brow shape (!) 10/10 experience

Never going back and would not recommend. I went in asking for progressive lenses so I could stop wearing cheaters. The male doctor at the Berea location dismissed my request and told me I would fall if I wore progressives and should stay with cheaters. I'm in my 40s and explained that I had already been wearing my husband's progressives without issue. Rather than having a respectful conversation, he became argumentative, talked down to me, and made condescending remarks like, "I guess you don't want to listen to a doctor with expertise." Unfortunately, I had to deal with the same doctor a second time because when the glasses arrived, I could no longer see distance - even though I have perfect distance vision. In the end, my husband had to step in to get the glasses I had prepaid $400+ for, corrected properly. Completely unprofessional.

This was my first visit to Broad View Eye Center. The staff were so kind from beginning to end. I felt very welcome and listened to. The exam was thorough and the doctor answered all of my questions. They also have online booking so it was easy to schedule my appointment. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a great eye doctor!
