Eye exam went fine but actually getting glasses there was a nightmare. It took me 5 visits to measure my eyes for the bifocals because the woman kept forgetting what she already measured. Then she sent the wrong frames to have the lenses put in. I made them send the frames I picked out in for lenses. It took me 3 months to finally get the correct glasses and they refused to compensate for all the trips in and the unacceptable long wait to get them. We will not be back.

Unfortunately, they are closing. I have been a satisfied patient for over 5 years. I believe appointments stop on March 1, 2026. If you have records there, it's best to get them before that date.

What you can expect: 1. any corrective lens prescription will be wrong. They will charge you $60 and never be willing to do anything. 2. Keep you waiting 2 hours and say "we tell everyone that they should expect to be here for 2 hours ".A lie. A reminder email 1 day before, said no such thing. 3. Any request to talk to the office manager will be ignored.4. Any discussion attempt to talk to the doctor is arrogantly refused " you want to go, go" This review is wrongfully attributed to Canton Ophthalmology. It was meant to refer to Columbus Ophthalmology Associates and in no way reflects the care in Canton.

I have had wonderful experiences for 40 yrs with Canton Opthalmology BUT am very upset that when they close the office I was told I cannot pick up my records at the office and that it would cost $20 to get them.

I will mot be back. Always got topography of eyes here... been coming 20 years. Now they dont. I can go anywhere for a simple eye exam.

The dr was nice. This place gets 2 stars because they call you and argue with you about insurance. My son is covered under his dad and myself. Dad has primary. For some reason the office refused to bill dads insurance because the other insurance m told the office they were primary? Not sure how one insurance dictates that? They aren't even my current insurance anymore. Nowhere did we put that insirance was primary. Despite telling the office lady that dads insurance is primary, she still refused to believe me? Apparently what my old insurance says trumps what I say? She asked "what am I supposed to do with this bill" i said "bill Anthem, the primary insurance!!" Im not sure what is so hard to comprehend about that. But dad called his insurance, Anthem, they confirmed they should be the ones being billed. But regardless, the lady who called to argue with me and flat out refused to bill Anthem, cut me off, talked over me, was so rude. You can't ASSUME insurance won't accept a claim if you don't even submit the claim in the first place. Make that make sense! They need to learn how to do their job instead of cold calling telling me I need to pay up. They are worse than telemarketers! Will absolutely not be returning.

The place is clean and nice selection of glasses. One of the ladies up front at receptions with a lip stud check me in. She's not the nicest person in the world but I wouldn't want to be at work when it's nice outside. But I came in to my 1:30 appointment around 1:08 and waited. it's been almost an hour and I still have no been seen. However I see people being called up that just walked in or waited less time than I have. Which I understand because people have reasons why they are here but i've been waiting an hour and have not heard anyone yet. I also am sitting close to reception and there are two lady checking people in. I heard loudly that an 89 old patient is coming in for an appointment and the ladies started laughing and saying how "that's going to be fun" I just thought it was kind of disrespectful and not professional. The doctors are really great and helped me with my eye infection last time I was here. However today I got a nurse name Kathy and I told her that I was in for a check up because I had a eye infection and my eyelid doesn't open all the way up. Still isn't full opened. I told kathy this and said "Probably because you are just tired" i said no that's not why and explained to her why but she just nodded me off while she typed. again, unprofessional. Then we got taken to a SECOND WAITING ROOM. We only waited for about 5 minutes but once you wait in the waiting room is all up in the air.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Waited almost two months to get in to see Jamie Zucker due to a cataract from a previous surgery . They canceled my first appointment 3 weeks ahead of time and rescheduled me. Today, less than 24 hours before my appointment, they canceled again with no reason given. They tried to reschedule me with another doctor but did not want to see a different doctor. Don't waste your time trying to get an appointment here. I'm finding somewhere more reliable to go
