I was seen by Dr. Bair, very professional, genuinely nice guy. I woke up and gradually went blind in my right eye, although all the tests performed where negative he sent me to the hospital with a recommendation of possible dx and tx in which the hospital followed 100% with some other testing. I gained 100% of my eyesight back (I do believe lol). He was the only one to squeeze me in for an Emergent visit when no one else would make time for me, I was TERRIFIED but thanks to his knowledge and confidence, I was able to be treated correctly and effectively. The team at the office is great, they get you in and out in no time. What would take a normal initial office 3 hrs to do all the testing and all took me barely an hour and 20 mins. Very structured and thorough. Thank you Dr. Blair and the whole team, I will gladly continue to go here and recommend this place to ANYONE!

Can't say enough about Dr. Khatib - found detached retina and was super fast doing surgery along with lasering several holes in retina after my own opthalmalogist misdiagnosed and just perscribed glasses back in July 30th 2025 . I finally was referred to this place but not until Sept. when I kept insisting nothing changed. They are great - fast, caring, and extremely knowledgeable behind the eye. Had surgery Sept. 10th and all has been great since then! If you have an behind eye problem (and I'm sure you will know when you do) this is the go to place and Dr. Khatib! PS - most absolute pain free procedure and healing this 85 yr old ever had.

I have been struggling with severe eye floaters for over 7 years, and after reading so many positive reviews about Vitreo Retinal Consultants, I finally felt a bit of hope that I might find answers or at least some reassurance. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Baha El Khatib was extremely disappointing. From the moment I met him, his demeanor felt cold and dismissive. Rather than listening with compassion or showing any understanding of how disruptive my condition has been, he seemed eager to end the appointment as quickly as possible. His bedside manner was poor -- he came across as rushed, detached, and uninterested in what I was going through. After waiting years to seek help, I left feeling brushed off and more discouraged than before. For a specialist in such a sensitive field, I expected empathy and professionalism, but instead I felt ignored. I don't want to completely write off the entire practice, as the staff and reputation of Vitreo Retinal Consultants are clearly strong. In fact, all of the other staff I interacted with were very pleasant and professional. However, if I were ever to consider returning, it would be absolutely necessary that I see a different doctor. Patients deserve care and compassion, and sadly, I did not experience that here.

The whole staff is super nice and Helpful. Not long waiting room times.you also dont wait for a long time to see your doctor witch is geeat.it makes you feel like your in and out in a timely manner

Once again, the staff and Dr. Gersman are very nice and professional. I feel like they are my friends. I would highly recommend.

This office is very busy but the staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. El Khatib is very personable, I have great confidence in hoss knowledge and ability.

My doctor El Khatib is the absolute best ! Very friendly, listens to my concerns and explains everything very well. The staff there is the absolute best also. They are very friendly and caring and professional ! If you need a retinal doctor I highly recommend Vitreo Retinal Consultants !
