Jamie L. Zucker, MD

I have been going to see Dr Zucker for many years. He is the most caring professional doctor. I was having problems and went to see him and I had my surgery scheduled for days later. He didn't want me to suffer longer. People complain about the wait? He is helping other patients so bring a book to read. The staff have always been very friendly and kind. I highly recommend this doctor and his staff. The best in Stark county.

I have gone to this office for over 40 years and have respect for Dr Zucker and his staff. I was there today to go over the schedule for the next couple of months when he will be performing cataract surgeries on my eyes.

Worst experience I've ever had with a healthcare provider. Dr. Zucker came in loud, rude, and arrogant to tell my fiance that she was "healthy and nothing could be wrong" despite sharing a long list of symptoms. He dismissed our concerns several times, telling her "well I don't know why you're acting like you're blind," "you're seeing 20/20 nothing is wrong," (there is, indeed, something wrong) and "I don't have an answer for you so you're just going to have to deal with it." Stated that he would run some tests "just to make sure we have it documented that we did it." Horribly unprofessional. As someone who works in healthcare, the first thing you learn is to listen to and believe the patient's concerns because they know their body best. Apparently Dr. Zucker missed that class. Expect to be demeaned, questioned, talked down to, and have your concerns dismissed. And don't forget that your issue won't actually be addressed. We have never had a worse experience in an office. If you have a choice, avoid this sham of a provider at all costs. This review also has nothing to do with the other office staff. The assistants and scheduling staff were all excellent.

First off expect to wait one to two hours for your appointment. I have never been there waiting less than an hour. Today was my postop appointment. I am disabled. I was standing in the line to check out and said to one of the office staff that I can't stand very long and need to sit down. She laughed at me!!! I said I don't think having a spinal cord injury is funny! She walked away. I will never go back to the office.

after making a mistake putting the wrong lens in my rt eye ( found this out at Cleveland Clinic)-then lasering it i was left with loss of sight in my rt eye. After speaking with him and writing a note there was no responsibility taken on his part
