Walmart Vision & Glasses

I have used them in and off for a few years. My first initial visit, the doctor at that time was not nice and neither were the employees. After that, I used a different optometrist only to find out that I couldn't get my glasses there and had to get my glasses from Walmart anyway. At least the frames. When I picked them up, the woman that was working was really nice. I have used them for the past 3 years for my children. A different doctor every time though. My visit before my most recent visit, the doctor was extremely nice and gave me detailed information about my daughter's vision. I was very pleased. I'm not sure what happened within the time period but I called last week to schedule an appointment for my 2 children and myself and the woman that scheduled the appointments was really rude and had an attitude. After scheduling the appointment for my kids, I tried to schedule an appointment for myself and I was asked for my medical card member number (I was at work and didn't have that information),. I explained to her that I didn't have it on me and she said "Well don't you think we need that? " which i found to be rude and sarcastic. So if choose i couldn't schedule but I'm still confused as to why they needed my insurance member number over the phone when I'm going to have to give it to them when I get there. I have never had to do that anywhere. Anyhow, I called today to check the status of my kids glasses and the woman who answered the phone was rude and acted as if I was bothering her. The doctor is great though. As long as the doctor is working there, I will continue to use them. Hopefully, they can get nicer staff.

It was a little bit of a wait, but all of the staff were friendly and the eye doctor seemed very educated and caring. They also had a good selection of glasses to choose from

This is my second time getting my glasses from here. I LOVE the optometrist and his staff!! They are truly amazing and helpful. And I love that Walmart offers insurance for breakage and replacement for a small price,THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT. I will definitely be returning and recommending to my friends

the actual eye doctor was super nice! the staff was alright, not super friendly

Dr. B was a pleasant surprise for my husband and myself. So friendly, so polite, so knowledgeable! Finally someone who actually took the time and diagnosed correctly what was going on with my eyes! The Dr and staff really took the time to listen to concerns, even had a fun experience picking out frames! This new Dr is worth it! Make the appointment! It's worth it!

I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. I made sure to have a babysitter and the time off of work to be able to make it to the appointment. I confirmed my appointment with the office 3 times within the two days before my appointment. I even received a notification for my appointment one hour before I was supposed to be there. I arrived at the facility 5 minutes early only to be told that the doctor had left for the day or was leaving currently, (I'm still not clear on which) and also that they had tried to call numerous times to tell me the doctor wanted to go home early... As if that makes it okay???. My phone has no missed calls. It is highly inconvenient. If the doctor knows that a person is coming in, he should stay and do his job. I drove in a blizzard to get here today. I will not be back.

My original appointment was fine. But I just picked up my glasses and they're purple. The lenses have this coating on it that I DECLINED at the original appointment. Not only is it on my glasses, (which were green and gold frames) but now I got Barney and friends lenses. I told "Melissa" I didn't like them, I had declined it at the time of purchase. Whenever the woman had done my appointment she had a paper that she marked on and I had DECLINED the blue coating. But Melissa said she had no idea what I was talking about because they don't use anything like that. (that's a lie) Not only was this ugly coating put on the glasses but they charged me for it at the time of purchase and it was not indicated on my receipt or prescription. I asked her how long to fix this problem and she said "like a week,but look you got 60 days try em, if you still don't like em, you got 60 days. " It's day one and I'm telling you I hate them. I literally cried in the parking lot. These are ugly. I hate them. I wasn't heard, I wasn't respected,and I was over charged.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The bald doctor I had to deal with today was absolutely horrible. Every time my mother went to put her pin in on the machine he would he a button on his end and cancel our transaction. Other customers in the store saw this and began to tell us it was probably because of my sister's marine shirt. I definitely suggest going anywhere else for optical. The worker was also extremely rude to an older man that was trying to get his glasses fit. If you can't handle your store being busy then you shouldn't be working in a Walmart.
