Dr. Smallwood and his staff do an exceptional job of taking care of and treating their patients. My 10 year old son got poked in the eye with a pencil yesterday and without hesitation, Dr. Smallwood's staff welcomed us to come in to have it checked out. When arriving, Dr. Smallwood happily and immediately took my son back for an examination. There was no appointment needed and they all treated it as an emergency situation. He was thorough, made my son laugh, and explained everything in great, and easy to understand, detail. On the way out, my son proclaimed, "I love Dr. Smallwood! I feel like I have a new eye!" Kudos to Dr. Smallwood and his staff. It's great to have such a caring team in our community.

Dr. Smallwood has been an amazing optometrist for our family. He is especially wonderful with children, which makes such a difference as a parent. My 10-year-old son was very nervous going into his appointment, but Dr. Smallwood took the time to clearly and calmly explain everything to both of us in a way that was easy to understand. He made my son feel comfortable and confident, and we left the appointment feeling reassured and well cared for. I truly appreciate his patience, professionalism, and genuine care for his patients. Honestly the best eye care I have ever found. The knowledge, professionalism, and sense of family is 2nd to none. Dr Smallwood has raised th bar of not only what I expect for eye care, but health care as a whole. Every visit feels like ive gone home and im visiting friends and family.
