Dr. McGannon and his team were very professional. I had cataract surgery on my right eye in July 2025. The surgical procedure went like clockwork. The follow-up care was excellent. Thankfully, I can now see clearly. I highly recommend Dr. McGannon.

Dr. McGannon is an expert specialist in the field of Ophthalmology at the Cleveland Clinic in Independence, Ohio. Not only is he an expert in his field of specialty, Dr. McGannon has an excellent doctor-to-patient rapport. He is thorough and caring. He has always managed to calm me down, especially when I began losing my vision. I have been with Dr. McGannon for at least eight years. NOT ONCE have I had NO complaints about his treatment plan, or his personality, regardless of how busy he is, he ALWAYS take the time I need to understand my specific issues. His remarkable staff makes sure that his service runs proficiently and on time. My experience has been that I overhear other people in the waiting area talk about , their experiences with their doctors with other people. NOT ONCE have I heard any criticisms with regard to Dr. McGannon specifically. In fact, I have heard only praises! Dr. McGannon comes highly recommended by me. I spent twenty-five years in the healthcare field as a Registered Nurse, so I know what to look for in a Physician, separating the mediocre, from the good to the great. Without any doubt, Dr. McGannon outshines the great!!!

Dr. McGannon has been caring for my eyes for several years. Throughout this time he has proven to be highly professional, knowledgeable, understanding, attentive, and thorough. He takes his time to carefully explain his medical findings and provides me with useful information on the summary at the end of every visit. Additionally, there have been several instances I thought of questions after leaving the office, having to contact him via MyChart or phone calls to the office. He or his office staff consistently respond in a timely manner. I highly recommend Dr. McGannon!

Zero stars! Dr. McGannon is rude and arrogant and showed no compassion. He dismissed my painful symptoms and did not perform a full exam. Stay clear away from this "doctor!" Cleveland Clinic should be ashamed to have him on staff. His patients are just a number to him.

I left extremely frustrated and disappointed after my visit with Dr. Mcgannon as he spent very little time with me, seemed dismissive of my symptoms, and didn't even examine my eyes. Was referred to him by another doctor and left without my vision issues being addressed or fixed.

Wonderful doctor who took the time to listen to my concerns and he made sure he answered all my questions. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.
