Really great care. Excellent practice with Dr Dasher and her staff. So glad we found her.

Our decision to change from our usual provider was a good one. The doctor was friendly and very knowledgeable. The staff was welcoming and the atmosphere was great. We didn't feel like we were just a number. Thank you!!! Highly recommended!!

This is the best place I've been to for eyeglasses. The staff is so helpful and patient. I'm from Cincinnati, and I'm considering always coming up to Springfield for my glasses from now on!

I love the dr she is so nice and excellent at her job . Office staff was okay ! The lady who tryed to sell me $988 glasses was not friendly . . 788 with 200 insurance deductible. I told her to take off scratch resistant and nightly glare off and sun shield when i go outside .. Still came to 500 plus ( with my 200 deductible ) . Frames cost 239 . 788 plus my insurance deductible . I bought same glasses on line got all the bells and whistles . With my insurance and paid a extra 155 glass cost $355 .online at usa glasses . Saved 600 dollars .I really wanted to get my glasses there . But could not afford them . Don't think i will be back . Im on a fixed income .Maybe this is a place fir the rich . I am not rich . How do elderly people get by . Very sad . The stars are for the eye dr .

This office is very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, I feel this office is not educated on handling special needs children. They might say they have a specialist, but she is not understanding nor friendly. I have a neuro divergent child (ASD) high on the spectrum. He's especially particular about facial sensory. (So glasses and contacts will and do bring him high anxiety). My teen was incredibly interested in trying contacts as he does not like the way his glasses feel on his face (sensory). The first session; The specialist attempted to teach him how to wear contacts and the session was a fail. (I was not there so I cannot comment on the first encounter). I do know, my child came home in tears and told me he felt "stupid" the entire time the lady tried to teach him. The second attempt; The office was advised that I was going to come with my child to help him learn how to put his contacts on, since I understand how to explain to him. I am this child's comfort, and I offered to help him because I know his brain is different, and he's not able to grasp explanations the way a "neuro normal" person would. When we first got to the office, the "specialist" was very passive aggressive and tried to tell me to sit in the waiting room. (Just because you use a polite tone of voice doesn't mean it's ok to pass people off). I tried to explain why I was there but she continuously interrupted me, not allowing me to advocate for my child. It wasn't until I interrupted and explained to her that my child is autistic and I am his comfort, did she allow me to come help him. (I had to talk a bit louder for her to stop and listen). I should not have felt so belittled but she insisted I waited because SHE is a "specialist." We got to the back and as I tired to explain to my son how I put my contacts in, she interrupted me to tell him I was wrong and to do it her way. (Please remember this was our second attempt on a contact session, and I was there this second time because she failed to get him to understand the first time.) The specialist did not allow me to help my son without putting her opinion in or interrupting. She completely created an incredible amount of unnecessary anxiety in my son. If you truly understand an ASD child, you know they get VERY confused when two people are trying to talk to them at the same time. I feel her ego was too big to allow anyone to help unless she was in charge of the situation. Reviews are here for education. I do not want another ASD parent to be disrespected the way I felt we were. If she had just let me explain two sentences to him without interjection, we had a chance of succeeding. I'm not blaming our failure on her one bit, however, a step back and allowing a parent to advocate for their child goes a long way. In the end we did not succeed. You could tell the specialist was frustrated... because as I apologized for advocating for my son, she just said "have a good day" 20 times in a passive aggressive tone of voice. My advice to this office: please please please, if you have a specialist on staff; make sure they actually care about children. (I shouldn't have to say this) Kids are incredibly sensitive, no matter what age they are. They need more guidance and "out of the box" thinking or success will be further out of reach.

My glassses were not perfect but the service was perfect, and they are perfecting the glasses even as we speak. What more can one want?

Dr. Mercer-Dasher and staff are wonderful. This is a great office. I highly recommend.
