This was one of the most frustrating and eye-opening experiences I've ever had with a doctor's office, and it happened before I was even seen. I called to schedule an appointment for a painful stye in my eye and asked to also have an eye exam for glasses at the same time. I was flat-out told this could not be done, and that I would be required to come back for separate appointments. I was then informed that even if the doctor looks at the stye, he may not remove it "if he doesn't have time," forcing yet another visit for something that could and should be handled in one appointment. It became very clear this office operates on a minimum work per visit, maximum billing model. The scheduler openly stated that the eye exam is done by a technician, not the doctor, yet insurance is billed as though a physician is providing the service. Patients are intentionally split into multiple appointments so they can be charged repeatedly for care that could easily be completed at once. When I explained that I did not want to keep driving back and forth for the same issue, the scheduler responded with a dismissive "Okay, that's fine," making it obvious she could not care less whether I scheduled an appointment or not. No attempt to help. No concern. No professionalism. Between the rude attitude, lack of transparency, and what feels like borderline insurance manipulation, this office left an extremely bad impression. It's no mystery why medical costs are out of control when practices operate like this. I would absolutely not recommend this doctor's office to anyone who values honest care, efficiency, or basic respect.

My whole family goes here at one time or another.. Was with a family member and we got there almost 2 hours early... and we were hoping to get in early. They were extremely busy and waiting room was packed. The staff is friendly and courteous and the wait was long but manageable. Dr Lau is a great doctor and Greater Ohio Eye is on point.... I trust them with my sight and I'm blind in one eye. Lol... Give them a try if you have serious vision problems.
