The optometrist was kind and very knowledgeable and friendly. The other staff was great and took great care of me. I got my exam, glasses ordered in no time. I will be back again and again for office visits and glasses

Quick eye exam, quick checkout with glasses and on our way. 1 pair of glasses was 800 bucks because of the 200 to 400 percent markups they and most big box stores have. Luckily I had VSP vision insurance and they covered almost 600 dollars of it, so I got out for a little over 200 out of pocket. Next pair I'll get online at a fraction of the price. Over all it went well

They did a really great job. I have always liked this place, even when they were eye mart. They do a great job and give me a great exam. I have so many things going on with my eyes, but they get me seeing the best I can. I always get my glasses online, they are WAY cheaper, and they never have a problem giving me my prescription.

I am very dissatisfied on this visit, but not for the Customer Care per se rather the price. The two people at the front desk were very nice. The doctor was very pleasant. However, we had our annual exam at the later part of January. I was told this would get us through for the next 12 months. This is standard and how it is always been. I do have insurance and it is very good insurance. Generally, my plan will pay for $150 worth for contacts or $150 towards a frame per person. The lenses are generally free, all basic exams have a $10 co-pay per person. Now I do know if you are person that wears contacts there is a separate exam that does need to be completed to get a prescription for contacts. This is generally $90 on top of your basic exam which is around $79 or $89, totaling $179 or about that per person. The four people in my family as I stated, went at the end of January. my son still had current contacts in the box and did not want to waste them, Therefore he opted to wait till later to do the contact exam. I personally did my contacts and went back in later to get glasses. My son and I returned for a visit today seven months after the basic exam to complete the contact portion knowing that I would need to pay $90....however I was advised that because it had been more than three months since the basic exam was completed, we would now have to start over and pay out-of-pocket for the basic exam and the contact exam. I asked if a prescription is good for 12 months, then why would the basic exam not continue on through that 12 months. They said that eyes can change over 90 days...which I do agree with however $90 is a lot of money to pay for a contact exam which is not really any different than a basic exam.... so since we have paid for one basic exam already per person in my household just 7 months ago... why charge for a second basic exam and a contact exam at this point? it is about greed.. they could have found a way to make the $90 all that was needed.... I would've understood had the original basic exam been done elsewhere and not this office, but I have been going to this office for 15 years and they still charged us for two basic exams and one contact exam within 12 months for one person. I asked before leave g if either of these exams are good for only 90 days this time... she stated no.... both prescriptions are good for a year.....to make matters worse there was no change in the "glasses" exam from Jan to now and they still felt the need to charge for another basic exam... there was no extra time used to complete the contact exam which could and should have included the basic exam as this was the second time being seen within a 12 month timeframe.... I will not be returning. I need to know that the office I go to is still about Customer Care as well as financially staying stable at this point I feel that this office is truly corporate and no longer has the customer in mind. It is about the finances that they can gain. But I do want to thank the gentlemen that helped us ass he did provide $25 off the basic exam price.
