R. Michael Kabbes, O.D., LLC

I have been going to Dr Kabbes since I was a freshman in High school and I am now 54yrs old! My children has also grew up with his office. He has been excellent since day 1! In this pandemic he and his staff made me feel safe & secure...this is the best office ever and his staff are awesome too! Very professional office.

I'm very impressed with Dr Kabbes and his staff. I haven't had an eye exam in many years. After experiencing a vision problem (that now appears to have been an optic nerve stroke), I decided to schedule an appointment with Dr Kabbes, because of his 5 star rating. They were able to see me within 24 hours and I've never had a more thorough eye exam. His staff is very friendly, and the doctor is very personable and explains everything in detail. He even stayed late to make sure I was taken care of. On top of that, they accepted my insurance. I will definitely continue to use Dr Kabbes as my Optometrist and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for excellent eye care!

Staff is rude. They do not listen to the patient. I would not recommend it. I would give 0 stars if I could. I asked for computer glasses and was told I needed trifocals. They did not work, and I was told I would have to wait a week for a remake. The office manager is not a doctor, and she is the one who forced me to get the trifocals vs. computer glasses like I asked for. Unprofessional staff. Avoid this place.

I am giving this a two star review because after I received my glasses back with the prescription they were awful. I felt like I was looking out of drunk goggles. I have been wearing glasses prior to this and always went to eyemart but due to an insurance change I came here. Dr. Kabbes was very nice but after telling him my issues with the glasses I received, he basically said to deal with them and wear them around. I wore them for 3 weeks straight and same thing. His response this time was "let's change your contact prescription". My contact prescription was perfect they didn't need changed. I went into kabbes office today to get my prescription and go back to eyemart without insurance. Dr. Kabbes re-evaluated me and said everything is the same with the prescription and maybe my contacts were causing swelling and messing up my glasses. I left there with my prescription and took it to eyemart. I am currently wearing the eyemart glasses same prescription and perfect!

I used to go to this office for several years for my all my optometric needs. During my last visit, I bought an expensive pair of prescription glasses, but the hinge (of the frame) came off within a month or two. I went back to them and the staff offered duck-tape to fix it. They said there is no basic warranty of any sort and stated that I refused warranty. I wanted them to show the documentation/proof that I refused warranty, which they could not produce. The office was very unprofessional and I will not go there anymore!

Dr. Kabbes is the best eye doctor I've ever been to. I've been coming here for years and I have to say he works hard to satisfy you. Really a great guy.

I have been going to Dr.Kabbes for years. Great office staff also, they make you feel relaxed. I have gotten other family members to see him also.

We have been with Dr Kabbes for many years. He is very thorough. Anytime I have a question or need an adjustment the staff is friendly and helpful.
