Staff and doctor are great but way over booked. I had a 10:15 appointment, arrived at 10:00 as I was told to get there 15 minutes early. I had a field test by an assistant about 11:00 and then sat until 12:10 before seeing the doctor for less than 7 minutes. As I was leaving I was told the doctor would dilate my eyes next time which they have told me the last three appointments. Having Dr. Burchfield come to BG only 1/2 a day every 2 weeks is not working for his patients.

I met with Dr Burchfield and staff on Fri May 31. My appointment was a very thorough appt and very informative. He ran different tests and explained what was happening with my glaucoma. We talked about medicines that I was on that could be an influence and suggested I do not take it.. He is going to speak my primary Dr.
He has suggested a surgery and I am willing to do it. Looks forward to our next visit. I would recommend Dr. He explains things to the patient and is very kind.
