Insightful Eyewear

Definitely got the worst pair of glasses I've ever had. My vision with these glasses were far worse than with my old glasses. I came back after a few weeks and shared with the doctor that something wasn't right. Unfortunately, He didn't take it seriously. No going back and rechecking anything, just Standing up in the hallway he held one of his lenses up in front of my eyes and asked if that's any better . I said I thought so and he did offer to make another pair. The replacement lenses were no better. I never went back because of his lazy attitude. This week I went to a different optometrist. I learned the prescription from insightful eyewhere wasn't even close to what I needed. It was just wrong. I will say that Insightful's doctor and staff were all pleasant enough. The doctor just got defensive when I said I didn't think the glasses were right. I didn't trust him to make a serious effort to make them right. I should have kept complaining but I didn't. So I wasted $400.00.

Don't waste your time or money at this place. I recently went in for an eye exam and was told I needed glasses. A month later they finally came in, only to have my vision blurry while wearing them. I was told to give it a week for my eyes to adjust (I've never heard of such a thing with glasses), and couldn't even keep them on for 5 seconds without getting a headache and my eyesight getting worse. I was told I would need to go in to get my eyes checked again. How would my prescription change in a matter of a month? My son was told that he needed glasses from this same doctor when he was in first grade and his prescription has never changed. My son is now a freshman and told the doctor that he didn't think he needed glasses. Miraculously on that same visit my son was told he no longer needed glasses, and I know it's because he was called out on it. I have been getting duped by this doctor for almost a decade now. He is only in it for the money and has the most archaic equipment ever. The only good thing about this company are the ladies who work there. They have been wonderful, but I will definitely never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Been a patient here for many years. Have had much education about my eyes and eye health from Dr Ruzicka and staff that other facilities have neglected to even mention. Have worn glasses since I was a child ( now in my late 30s) have just finally decided to try contacts for the first time. The education process was thorough, the contact exam was painless and I'm very happy with the results. They took the time to help teach how to use them safely etc even when the office was busy that day. Service has always been excellent

This eye doctor is very detailed he ran several test and exams on my eyes all the staff are very welcoming thorough and polite . Definitely would recommend them to great experience my glasses very came faster then expected and corrected so they optical center they use is also great . PS the doctor owners the place you can see and feel the passion he has has they very educational thorough and commutative they place just has a homey feel / atmosphere

I am so thankful for Insightful Eyewear. I have been a patient there for over 10 years and recently was reminded why I refuse to go elsewhere. I was recently going through the crosswalk at Meijer on a handicap cart and was struck by a pickup truck. Needless to say my glasses were damaged when knocked from my face. Besides being injured and in pain i had ruined glasses. When I called them at the office and explained what happened they were so kind and ordered me new glasses immediately. Within a few days I had them and they were wonderful. There's something to be said about small town business that knows you personally. Dr Ruzicka and the girls in the office have my THANKS

went in for a new pair of glasses and update my contacts because I switch between the two. I've never had a Dr. take as much time with me as this Dr. did, most places treat you like a "Jiffy Lube" We spoke about changing my presciption and why, and then I was off to look at different frames without any help, which I loved, last place talked me into frames I hated and never wore, I wore my old glasses from 10 years ago, that's how much I hated those frames the "Help" picked for me. SO happy with this office I will always be coming back!

I went in for a contact fitting. I've never been to an eye doctor where he spent so much time making sure I was satisfied with my contacts! Usually get your eye exam with the doctor and he passes you off on assistants, but not here every visit was with him each time I came back I was always with the doctor and he double checked my vision and double checked the contact to make sure proper fit! Highly recommended right here!

I highly recommend!! The Dr is great. He goes above and beyond. He took the extra time to answer my questions. The girls in the back are great, knowledgeable and patient. I tried on multiple pairs of glasses! They took the time to help me choose the best pair and they have a great selection! When they came in they adjusted them just right!
