Dr. Scott Storck responded so nobly to my emergency call on Saturday, July 5. It was a holiday weekend and the office was closed. I called Walmart optical in Troy, who directed me to his office and the recording directed me to Wilson hospital. Dr. Storck was the ophthalmologist on duty and he called me right back. I described my eye situation and was willing to wait a few days, but he said "That could be dangerous so we should look at it today." He left his home 30 miles away to meet me at his Troy office. He was in his scrubs, cheerful, and patient. He did all of the tests needed and gave me great advice for how to respond to my eye concerns ahead. I was so impressed by his prompt and heroic service on a holiday weekend. Dr. Storck delivers!! God bless him!

This doctor came in and opened his office solely for the purpose of seeing my father when he was not doing well on both the Saturday AND the Sunday of a recent weekend. I do not need to know anything else to know that this is a totally dedicated man and a great human being. There was no "take an aspirin and call me Monday." I really don't care if someone sat in the waiting room for an extra hour one day to be seen. Docs who only spend 15 or 20 minutes with a patient regardless of the problem can keep an exceptionally tidy schedule, but they'll never give you exceptionally good care. Dr. Wilding is the kind of doc I'd want when I had a problem.

I saw Dr. Wilding in 2019 for cataract surgery, so when I started having vision problems again I went back to the same office. I was seen in January and was told that I needed cataract surgery on both sides. Dr. Wilding had health issues so I was transferred to Dr. Johnson in March after waiting for weeks for a surgery date . I finally got one which they cancelled more times than I could count( multiple excuses) . My insurance goes from May to May...which they knew because they I informed them multiple times. On Tuesday I got a call from the surgery center telling me to bring 2 grand. I immediately called the office, they didn't bother to call me back. The surgery center offered no payment plan...I asked.. Dr. Johnson office finally called back when the surgery center called me multiple times, I don't them Dr. Johnson ogi ( Sierra) couldn't be bothered to call me back. She finally did and told me to come back in May 2023! My son had multiple surgeries this past year and we have definitely met our deductible. They knew that and didn't care!
