This is my favorite eye care company that I have ever dealt with. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They are high tech and gave me some interesting options to help my particular conditions. They also have a great selection of frames.
Dr Nathalie Maiorca as well as the entire staff are absolutely fabulous at Madison Eye Care. The appointments are timely and move along, but I never feel rushed. Everyone is very kind, knowledgeable and professional. I especially appreciate the way everyone explains the details of the procedures, issues and options available. I have and will continue to highly recommended Madison Eye Care and Dr Maiorca to my friends who are looking for a referral.
My name is Markell and I had such a wonderful experience at Madison Eye Care - Westlake! From start to finish, everything was smooth and professional. I got two new lenses put into my own frames and a complete eye exam, and I couldn't be happier with the results -- my vision is crystal clear, and the fit is perfect.
A huge shoutout to Katie, the receptionist, who was absolutely amazing! She was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Her friendliness really set the tone for the whole visit.

I have been been a patient of Madison Eye Care Westlake for years. Dr. Kovats has been great for thorough and efficient annual exams. This year was the first year I decided to order glasses through this office, and unfortunately is the reason that I have decided to no longer be a patient here. Everything was fine when I placed the order, but then I received no update for two weeks as to the status of my frames. I decided to call in, and I was informed that the glasses would be delivered to the office the following day. Great, I would be able to go in to pick them up that weekend. Saturday rolled around, and I still had not heard back, so I called again to confirm. This time I received a vastly different answer. My frames were actually discontinued, and they had no date for when I could expect my glasses to be ready. They told me they had to send their stock to the lab to have the lenses installed. I was assured that I would not be receiving the used display frames. Well, one month later and two more phone calls on my end (they had no proactive communication to me), and the glasses finally arrived to the office. I requested that they be shipped to my home due to the extended waiting period I had endured. I was informed this would be an additional charge of $8.95. While I understand there is a cost to shipping, I would have thought Madison Eye Care would have offered to cover the cost as a slight attempt to repair the damaged patient relationship. No such luck. I paid the shipping fee and finally received my glasses today, only to discover that I did indeed receive a pair of used frames. There are scuffs in the coating on them, and the screws at the hinges are halfway stripped. I am now out of luck as it's the end of the year, and I used my vision insurance benefits for a subpar product. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I will not be returning as a patient, and I would caution others to reconsider this location as well. It's a shame because Dr. Kovats has been great, and I would give him five stars, but the office experience is unforgivable.
Madison Eye Care in Westlake OH has been my eye care place for years. Dr. Leah Steel and the entire staff go above & beyond regarding professionalism, patience, support and kindness. I've never had a poor experience. Outstanding! HIGHLY recommend.
The exam was fine, and the doctor was quick and professional. However, for some reason, I was charged $109 when my exam through insurance should have been free.
Next, the office was supposed to order me a trial pair of contacts and let me know when they arrived. A week passed, and I received a text stating that someone had entered the wrong contacts for my trial, so they had to order a new pair. No problem--mistakes happen.
Another eight days went by, and my trial contacts were finally in. I went to the office to pick them up and was simply handed the contacts. I assumed I would have a fitting to ensure they were correct, but I was wrong. I then mentioned that I wanted to look at new glasses. The lady at the desk said, "Go ahead and look around." I browsed the entire store for 10-15 minutes, and not once did anyone ask if I needed help or what I was looking for. So, I left and decided I'd buy glasses elsewhere.
I then ordered my contacts from 1-800 Contacts on November 6th. They sent my prescription to Madison Eye Care for verification. I received my contacts on November 17th. It is now December 6th--28 days later--and I receive a text from Madison Eye Care asking about my prescription and whether I want them to verify it. I sent the prescription I had ordered, and the person texting me told me it was wrong. So now I have $260 worth of contacts that are incorrect because Madison Eye Care never verified the prescription. When I raised this concern, the texter told me that 1-800 Contacts reached out when they were closed. Were they closed for the last 28 days? I don't believe so. Their solution was for me to reach out to 1-800 Contacts to figure it out.
I also mentioned that my first trial pair was ordered incorrectly, and they said, "No, it was not ordered incorrectly." When I replied that I had received a text stating otherwise, I got no response.
This is a very unprofessional way to run a business. They missed out on selling me contacts and glasses, and now I have boxes of the wrong prescription--all while arguing over text instead of picking up the phone to navigate a solution.
I would absolutely not recommend the Westlake office due to the office staff.

Ive now emailed the office twice to recieve a copy of my prescription, so i can buy a pair of frames.... 3 weeks have gone by with no response. Today I called the office - went to voicemail :)
Dr. Maiorca has wonderful bedside manner and truly takes time to get to know her patients. I had scratched my eye and they were able to get me in quickly and told me if ever I have an emergency that they have appointments set aside for urgent matters. Thank you Dr. Maiorca and her staff for taking wonderful care of me. My eye is in perfect health!
Dr Kovats and Dr Steele are thorough and caring, and the staff has been consistently helpful. (I don't know the other doctors, so no shade to them!) I've always had a great experience here.
