The service was good. Dr. Lam was excellent, very attentive. People in the store were also helpful.
However.
Watch your invoice carefully. Without asking me, they added 3 optional add-ons to my purchase which increased the price by $700. One was a more expensive bifocal option that my insurance didn't cover, raising the price by $600. But even after removing that, there were two additional options that I hadn't asked for. These added $95. The person helping me told me that one of these options "came with the lenses." Yes, came with the lenses if you paid $45 extra. In the end the $950 price was reduced to $150. Buyer beware.

Unfortunately feeling the need to leave this review as my experience with the front desks staff seems to be similar to several others who have left poor reviews. When I arrived for my appointment, that had been requested to be confirmed by pearl vision multiple times, I was notified by the front desk lady that she was unable to find my insurance and I would have to pay out of pocket. She said she tried calling multiple times but I never received any voicemail regarding the issue. Thought this was strange as I have been to Dr. Lam before and had an appointment and contacts ordered through them. Anyways, I presented her with my insurance card and she began to get short with me regarding not being able to find my insurance and that she had already tried. The attitude for something that's really outside of my control was very unprofessional. There are 7 other optometrists in the immediate vicinity. I got a same day appointment with LensCrafters across the street. The gal there found my information no problem.

At age 52- I finally had to give in to the fact that I need glasses. While my prescription showed i basically needed something equivalent to readers, the entire staff took the time to make sure I got what I was comfortable with.
I absolutely recommend this location!! They are friendly, patient, knowledgeable.... Overall I was extremely pleased and they have set the bar high for future visits!!
