Dr. Hogue is truly an outstanding ophthalmologist. From the moment I walked into his office, I felt at ease with his staff. Dr. Hogue is incredibly kind, patient, and takes the time to explain everything clearly, which made me feel confident and informed about my care. What impressed me most is how thorough he is, he doesn't rush through appointments and pays close attention to every detail. It's clear that he is not only highly knowledgeable, but also genuinely cares about his patients' well-being. I'm so grateful to have found a doctor I can trust with my vision. I highly recommend Dr. Hogue to anyone looking for expert eye care with a compassionate approach.

Dr Daniel and his assistant Melany were very professional and took time to explain all test results. They used all the latest technology in evaluating my specific vision needs and carefully explained each test protocol. They made me feel confident in the proposed treatment plans and need for further tests in the future. The front office staff were also very pleasant and professional. I am completely confident having my vision needs Dr Daniel's care.

Cataract surgery w Dr. Hogue went well. Very thorough pre and post care. I had the panoptic lenses; and they have provided better than 20/20 at distance, reading and computer distances. Very satisfied.

Dr. Hogue is so patient with answering any questions we might have. Finally found a great Doctor after our previous Doctor retired.

The staff seemed short and easily irritable. They won't verify if your insurance is covered and if they are in-network - be sure to validate this before hand. They also put the expiration date of my prescription as the same date as the exam - had to call them about this, and they actually asked what I wanted them to do about it. So, I asked them to email me a new copy with the corrected expiration date. They did, but they also sent incomplete prescription details. Overall - they seemed like they had no idea what they were doing and cranky they had to do it. They also tried to dilate my eyes specifically only to check my vision (not to check for eye health) because they said it's easier and more accurate - I have never heard of this, so maybe that's a real thing, but it seemed weird. They said without dilating my eyes, my prescription wouldn't be fully accurate, but the eye doctor can "do some tricks" to get close. Made me wonder if they were really a doctor. Won't be going there ever again.

Dr Hogue recently performed Lasik surgery on my mother-in-law. The results couldn't have been better. De Houge explain the process perfectly, the recovery was next to none and the results are absolutely amazing! Thank you Dr Hogue !

Not a good experience. Left with an incorrect prescription, techs would not call me back after multiple voicemails over multiple days. Finally got in touch with the Contact lens tech and she agreed to correct the script, but made another typo. Finally got it corrected the 2nd time around. Took my daughter for an exam the next week. Insurance denied the claim, said it was wrong service type. It was coded as Routine Vision which is not covered under by medical insurance. I've always went to Opthamologists and they have always paid my claims. Their billing person refused to change anything on the claim sticking me with total gross charges. Wouldn't even adjust the charges to "allowable" charges. A contractual adjustment should have been made since I DO have insurance. If insurance would have paid the claim, a contractual adjustment would have been made to lower the charges to the "allowable" agreed upon charges between insurance and provider. Since the claim was denied, I am having to pay the entire gross charges - taking advantage of the patient. I told them if insurance wasn't going to cover any part of the exam, they should have told me up front. I wouldn't have brought my daughter there. She laughed. Well, I will spread the word NOT to go there. Not patient friendly at all.

Dr. Hogue is an excellent ophthalmologist! He and his staff were a big help and got me seeing the world clearly again.
