This is the best eye doctor in OKC. The whole staff is fantastic. Ariel was great and very patient. It took me 2 appointments to learn how to put hard contacts in and she never got frustrate and she continued to help me. Dr. Buster has truly made a huge impact on my life and I'm FOREVER grateful.
Have used their office and services for several years. Until this most recent visit (this morning), I have found the staff and doctors warm and relatable. Prior visit was pre and post cataract procedure, as well as routine care. The doctor I have previously visited has unfortunately chosen to practice elsewhere. Todays visit included a tense greeting from the front desk staff. The technician who did all the "pre-seeing-the-doctor" testing was kind enough, but seemed stressed and hurried. The doctor came in and began talking too loudly and fast; (I've been told on many occasions my voice is too loud). The doctor was very thorough and if felt heard and left well-informed. Was escorted to the front desk to pay, and the Doctor said, "feel free to look at the frames we have and pick out some you like". I told her, thank you, but we get our glasses online, I was informed I would receive a copy of my prescription, but when I asked for my PD (pupillary distance), the office manager spoke up from the back office, "We don't provide that any longer". I asked why, and he said "managerial changes". I responded that they have always provided that before, and he shrugged it off and restated the reason. I replied that we would have to rethink our choice of providers, and he said he would hate to see that over not giving out my PD. I didn't respond. I was soon approached by another lady asking if I had any insurance questions. I replied no thank you, the front desk and I had worked out before the appointment began. She asked if I wanted to look at any glasses frames, I said, no thank you, we get our glasses online. She asked why, and I replied that I was allergic to their prices. She countered they have bundles for a certain price, to which I replied that I can almost get two pair for that price. She said thank you and left. Bottom line, this office no longer presents a calm caring environment, but has become a fast-serve get-'em-in-and-get-'em-out clinic (think most chiropractic practices). The focus is money first, customers last. I'll miss the previous Optometrist and the kind caring place we used to visit, but we've already found another clinic where my mother goes; we'll visit these kind and caring people.
I want to give praise today to Caroline, who helped me wrap up my appointment time with Dr. Glaze, and helped me pick out some great new sunglasses! She made recommendations based on her knowledge of the products and asked me lots of questions so she could better help me pick the one that was right for my face and my preferences. I would highly recommend, not only the people at the Eye Care Center who are all so nice, but specifically Caroline when looking for new glasses. She was so good! She was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable and helped me easily wrap up my appointment today. Thank you Caroline!
I had a wonderful experience at The Eye Care Center! Dr. Tyler Glaze and Kiesha Harth were both tremendous! I can't say enough good things about them. The practice uses the most up-to-date technology, explains everything clearly, and truly has your best interests at heart. I highly recommend The Eye Care Center to anyone looking for a new optometrist.
I was greeted promptly upon my entrance. Easy check-in process. I was called back to an examination room on time. Dr. Le was both courteous and professional. I would recommend her for eye care 10/10
I've been a patient here for a few years and was disappointed by my most recent visit.
During this appointment I learned that several pricing and policy changes had been made. What used to be an optional retinal imaging screening is now presented as mandatory, with a $45 charge, rather than offering dilation as an alternative. That change felt more transactional than a medical necessity.
The contact lens exam fee has also increased from $45 to $65, but the biggest red flag was I was quoted $824 for a 12-month supply of Acuvue Oasys contacts. The 3 month supply amount they quoted me is closer to what the 12 month cost has been every year previously. (The pictured sticky note is what the tech wrote and gave me to take home). I've worn these for over a decade and have never been quoted anywhere near that price before, including at this same office in prior years. They are still available at their normal price elsewhere (screenshot from 1-800 contacts).
I understand that prices rise over time, but the lack of clarity, removal of opt-out options, and significant markup on routine products left me feeling more like a transaction than a patient. I hope this feedback helps others ask questions before their visit and encourages the practice to be more transparent going forward. I will not be going back.

I had a great first experience at The Eye Center. The initial enrollment with the front office staff was straightforward and pleasant. I was seen promptly at my appointment time. The technician, Trinity, and Dr. Le were both kind, efficient and informative. Finally, I had a wonderful experience with the optician staff as I was helped with my benefits coverage and my new glasses were hand-selected for me based on what I was looking for. Highly recommend this location!
Loved loved Dr Le. I usually see Dr. Glaze and he was wonderful but it was a wait to see him. So I chose to see any of them because I figured they were all great. She was amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable, and welcoming. I won't go anywhere else!
