Eye Care Specialists of Oklahoma

The Staff there are nice but their prices are VERY expensive. I understand my insurance doesn't cover vision, but I really wish they were more clear on their payments and what it is for. My first visit I felt that I was clear to them that my insurance doesn't cover vision. I even asked if there was anything else to pay the day of my appointment before I left and was told no. After paying on the day of my appointment I see another payment that was mailed to me that was due. $547.40 payment for the eye exam, lens fitting and 6 months of contacts is insane. Sorry I will have to go somewhere else, especially after hearing my coworkers pay much less elsewhere!

Took my granddaughter for an appointment. Staff not very friendly for the most part. When it came time to check out they gave me the glasses prescription. I asked them do we look at glasses here (which they had a very small selection) she said she would have to call and find out how much the insurance covers. After a bit she came back with a piece of paper that had the name and number of a location on the NW side of town that said they could help us. I did overhear a conversation between the staff that someone said just tell them we don't cover that part anymore because it's a hassle. So I had to drive to Rockwell and Hefner to get her glasses and they were super helpful and friendly. Will definitely not be going back there.

Waited 1-2 hours past appointment time for my daughter to be seen both times. When I asked the receptionist how much longer she stated that a 2 hour wait after appointment time is normal. Their process had no respect or consideration for my time away from work or the time my daughter had to miss school. I would not recommend coming here solely based on their inefficient scheduling and the incredibly long wait times.
