I just have to share how impressed I am with Dr. Wu at the eye care clinic. She's absolutely fantastic--super professional and really easy for kids to understand. She keeps everything straightforward and clear, and you can tell she knows exactly what she's doing at every step. It's a night-and-day difference from my previous experience where the doctor seemed kind of lost. I really recommend Dr. Wu for a smooth and confident experience.

After having a VERY BAD experience with my last optometrist (Next Optical on Speers, you can see my review) it was a pleasure doing business with David and the attending eye Dr at his place. David was a gentleman to me from the minute I walked into his business and made sure everything was right and that I was satisfied. I really appreciate his professionalism and his dedication and honesty he has for his work! Thank you David I will be a return customer, as all my family will be too!

I had a terrible experience in October 2025 . I see a dark block. The doctor told me no problem. I asked to see an ophthalmologist, but she disagreed. Finally, I went to another doctor who said it was very dangerous--a detached retina--and immediately made an appointment with a specialist and performed laser treatment.

They scheduled me in so quickly and were very knowledgeable! Dr. Wu was extremely professional and explained everything to me with precision and without rush. I'm looking forward to coming back to get my glasses here, highly recommend coming here for your Optical needs.

My second time buying classes from here. They are very helpful find it drames that suit you. They are very fast and professional. Would definitely recommend coming here

Best service by far. Been to many optical places. But I believe David is the owner. Helped me out told me max time but delivered the services within a week. Very on point and by the book. Got extra lenses incase need to swap them. Im thankful I walked into the store. 100% I would recommend

**Public Service Announcement for Ontario Works Clients** Avoid this location! My experience with David was extremely negative--he was hostile, rude, and even became aggressive when I simply asked him to send an email. While he may claim he was following protocol, that does not justify his behavior. There was no need for bullying or shouting when a calm explanation would have sufficed. I chose to take my Ontario Works forms elsewhere, and I recommend others do the same. No one deserves to be treated this way, especially when seeking essential services. Update/edit: David, your claim that this is my second review is completely false-I have no interest in wasting my time on this or you. But, it seems like a pattern, as other reviews mention similar experiences of you yelling at customers. If you're a customer considering ICARE Optical, feel free to give it a try, but I recommend reading other one star reviews and David's other responses to customer reviews from over the years. They speak volumes about his character and service. Wishing you the best, David. I hope you start treating people with dignity and respect.
