Outstanding Eye Care and Service
I had a great experience at the clinic. Dr. Brar was extremely thorough and professional during the eye examination, taking the time to explain each step and answer all my questions. I felt very confident in the care I received.
T.J., who conducted the initial eye tests, was also excellent--patient, detailed, and efficient. Jackie and Luz at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They made the check-in process easy, handled all the paperwork, and even scheduled my follow-up appointments without any hassle.
The entire clinic runs like clockwork--very organized, clean, and efficient. I was especially impressed with how quickly everything moved without feeling rushed. From start to finish, there was minimal wait time and a real sense of professionalism.
The Prism Eye Institute was very impressive! I was there to accompany my elderly mother needing some quick attention for concerns with her eye. In the end, all was good for her with no immediate concerns needing to be addressed. However, the whole visit at the institute was well orchestrated, with friendly instructions and guidance, and easy to navigate movement from one type of testing to the next. Dr Michael Mills was kind, gave clear answers, and made as feel immediately at ease about my mothers again eyes. I would most definitely recommend visiting this place if an eye specialist is what you are needing. Hands down a great place to be taken care of!
I would expect most patients are somewhat apprehensive having any type of facial/ocular surgery even if it's minor. Dr. Khan and her team put my wandering mind at ease from their welcoming words to the end result. Everything was clearly explained as to what was involved in the surgery including any discomforts I might encounter. The procedure went smoothly with no hiccups and I'm eternally grateful for their complete professionalism from start to finish. Thank you.
Terrible experience, fall of 2024, that will affect me forever. Referred to Prism by hospital ER. Expensive scans done. Concerns not listened to. Told "everything is fine, you have nothing to worry about". NOT FINE. Needed retinal surgery, thankfully found a doctor in Toronto. Delay meant I could have had a better outcome. The other ophthalmologist --who of course did same tests and exams--was able to diagnose looking at just a low-res black and white scan of a fax of my test from Prism that I showed him. In other words, either Prism doctor didn't look at scans, didn't care, wasn't competent or willing to refer to someone who is--or for some reason decided I didn't deserve my vision. It's taken me a long time to come back and write a review as I was severely traumatized. This was Dr. Michelle Khan at Prism who treated me this way. I am still shocked that this happened. I did get surgery in Toronto and surely wish I had just gone there first. But it's not easy to get an appointment with an ophthalmologist. I was even warned by my optometrist, who was fighting this battle alongside me, that I might not even be allowed to get a second opinion. To which I replied, "I went to Prism. I didn't get a first opinion!"
Prism might be good for routine issues, cataract surgery, for-profit procedures, I don't know. However I found it to be a black hole of despair in regards to my retinal problem. If you have an eye emergency in Halton-Peel, the hospitals do not have ophthalmologists on staff, so they refer you to Prism. I wish there was a better way, for all the patients in the future.
Dr Ondhia was great. She explained all my options clearly, which meant I was able to confidently decide on my future eye care. She was also very friendly and I had complete confidence in her advice.
I've been seeing Dr. Roy for over 15 years, and I can honestly say she is one of those rare doctors who combines true profesional ability with genuine humanity. Dr. Roy explains complex issues/procedures with patience and great clarity. She takes the time to really listen to all concerns and answer any questions. You never feel rushed or dismissed: you feel understood and heard, which creates a real sense of safety and reassurance, and a feeling of being a partner in your own care.
Dr Roy is respectful, kind, humble, and deeply compassionate, and of course... an outstanding ophtalmologist! Thank you Dr. Roy!
I would like to share my experience with Dr. Sepetis, a member of Dr. Ahmed's highly skilled team.
I have seen Dr. Sepetis several times during my visits and have always been impressed by his warm smile, professionalism, and deep knowledge.
My right eye surgery was performed 8 months ago by another fellow from Dr. Ahmed's team. My left eye was operated on by Dr. Sepetis on December 15, using the same procedure. I have aggressive glaucoma, and the surgery was a combined cataract surgery with a shunt implant.
More than 24 hours after surgery, I did not need any painkillers. Compared to my previous surgery, I experienced no pain at all, and my vision was already clear just 24 hours after the procedure.
I am truly grateful to Dr. Sepetis and wish him continued success. I am confident he is one of the rising stars on Dr. Ahmed's team.
Dr. T. Klein did my cataract operation on Jan. 15, 2026. It was a major snow storm but he made sure everyone was seen. It was very fast and my eye is healing very well. All my visits to Prism Eye Institute were very pleasant and they were all very courteous. My follow up appointment was on Jan. 27th. but Dr. Klein was not there so I saw Dr. Moti and she was very nice and answered my questions. She said my eye is healing and I will see Dr. Shoan March 3rd.
