Bailey Nelson Optometrist - Conestoga Mall

I had an amazing experience at Bailey Nelson! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and took their time to help me find the perfect pair of glasses. The eye exam was thorough, and the optometrist explained everything clearly. I loved the stylish frame collection -- modern, high-quality, and reasonably priced. The service felt personal and genuine from start to finish. I highly recommend Bailey Nelson to anyone looking for great eyewear and outstanding customer care!

Amazing experience at Bailey Nelson! Dr. Korenfeld is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about eye care. He went above and beyond, explaining everything clearly and checking my eyes in great detail. Optician Bholu helped me choose the perfect frames and lenses for my needs with great advice.

A couple of things... 1. Was told by the optometrist to my wife that she had a lifting retina and that she had to go into "emergency" surgery right away. 2. The optometrist booked her into a slot for 5pm on Saturday at Tri City Eye Care and said for us to to show up. We did not receive any confirmation from Tri City Eye Care. They also showed they were closed Saturday and we could not get a hold of them. We called Bailey Nelson. The manager of the store recommended us to just call the Google number and said it's all confirmed. This is an invasive surgery and we have had no communication from the clinic that's suppose to perform the surgery, my wife has had no communication as to what to expect. And she was told by the optometrist that she could experience blindness any moment. And the clinic that's suppose to perform the examination/surgery is not even open on Saturday. What kind of situation is this? Complete chaos...feels a bit like a scam too. So these guys get kickbacks from Tri City (a 3.8 star rated opthymalogist at that lol). I would say this team that was working at Bailey in Conestoga on Friday is one of the least organized teams I've seen and pretty disappointed at badly this location represents the company. Also asked for email copies of prescriptions and haven't recieved them. That's just a small thing but adds to the overall disorganized vibe of this mess. Be careful...buying glasses would be fine but I'd say get your actual eye exam done somehwre else other than this franchise.

The staff are remarkable at this location which made me come back and purchase my frames from here! Despite being busy, they remain calm and kind and are incredibly helpful. No hidden fees when getting frames - they are transparent and honest. A smooth and easy process. They also have lovey frame selections - thank you!

Went in for an eye exam and was diagnosed with a retina tear. I believe the diagnosis but the post diagnosis was terribly managed. The way the information was delivered felt panicked, informal and rushed. I was asymptomatic and the impression I got was that I could have severe eye damage imminently. I was verbally referred for emergency laser surgery the next day (Saturday). On top of that there was zero communication or confirmation from the referral surgeons office that this surgery was even happening. I reached out to Bailey Nelson and they couldn't get a hold of the surgeons office either. The surgeons office is closed on the weekend. With the phone line saying they are closed, no other contact number and no phone call from them, I had no confirmation there even was a surgery happening that day. I do like Bailey Nelson's glasses. My main feedback is when a serious diagnosis comes up from a Bailey Nelson eye exam, there needs to be a clear written diagnosis with next steps and contacts for the patient. Update (Feb 2026): I was seen by the referring Ophthalmologist and my condition was deemed not an emergency and was treated with a minor laser eye procedure MONTHS later (not surgery). Again, I would suggest an oversight of optometrist diagnoses to prevent unwarranted panic and more measured delivery of prognosis. For the customer/patient, take things with a grain of salt and SEEK A SECOND OPINION.

Great service & quick processing! The associate assisted me with picking new frames, contacted my optometrist to obtain my prescription, & direct billed my lenses and frames to my insurance provider.

I had a wonderful experience during my visit. The staff members were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Dr. Korenfeld was thorough, patient, and highly knowledgeable. He took the time to clearly explain my eye test results and prescription, which I greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for quality eye care and excellent service.

I had an eye accident and was getting Dr. Appointment no where on Sunday. But thankfully Bailey Nelson Optometrist gave me early appointment on urgent basis. I appreciate that they understand the patient pain and cooperate. The staff was really very helpful and the check up of my eye by Dr. Is really satisfied. I will suggest everyone to go there for eye related issues.
