Dr. Grove and her staff are first rate. Very thorough, no push to get surgery before you are ready, and no push to upsell to " better lenses". Dr. Grove strongly recommended non laser technology, and that I get nothing higher than an astimagtism correcting lens as I have had prior lasik surgery. She is personable, knowledgeable and answered all my questions completely. Never felt rushed. Looking forward to my surgery later next month. BTW, I am an MD

Hi quality, doctors that know other stuff and were very helpful at getting my eyes back in shape. If you need an eye specialist beyond the normal eye doctor, I would definitely recommend this place. However, do be aware that they are super busy and I've never waited less than a half hour in the exam room for the doc. It was also very nice that the doctor knew where they're helpfulness is at an end and at the last appointment said that the eye was in good shape and to just be seen by the normal eye doc from here. The only reason I didn't go five stars is the consistent long wait times after the scheduled appointment time.

I went here after a referral from my eye doctor for a tear in my retina. I think the eye specialist and the technicians were amazing. Very informative and thorough with their exam. I had a laser treatment done on my eye. The doctor walked me through it the whole way. Very calm patient guy. Dr. Pennington.
Also this was the Bend location
The reason for the 4 star and not 5 is simply because the front desk is a hot mess and could use some help. I waited for twenty minutes to be checked in even after ringing their doorbell twice. They also took someone in who had no appointment which bumped my appointment back another 15 minutes. It was frustrating until I got into the back and got my exam things were smooth from there.

Orion staff and Dr Constantine are consistently great to interact with. Just really nice people, at every interaction. They listen, are attentive and I do not ever feel like I am on some conveyor belt of care. I truly value the interest they show in maximizing the health of my eyes. Also, I have never had any issues with insurance billing for their services or with scheduling appointments that work for me. Highly recommend!

I had my first eye surgery w Dr Pennington earlier this week and it was a great success. I can't believe how clearly I can see out of my R eye now, wow - like as if I had mud all over my windshield and it's all been windex'ed off! I have some bruising as you can see, but it's as expected; and I'm recovering very well!
Dr Pennington is intelligent, kind, caring and very professional. My L eye will be done after this one fully heals. Everyone at Orion is extremely gracious, empathetic and thoughtful, making sure you are well tended to and comfortable. It was an excellent experience so far. Thanks to everyone at Orion!

Orion Eye has treated me with vitrectomies and cataract surgery in both eyes, two detached retinas, a couple quick laser repairs, and cut a hole in my lens capsule that had become somewhat opaque. I was in for an annual check-up last week. I have 20-15 vision in each eye. Dr. Christine and her excellent staff have truly saved me from blindness. There aren't enough stars.

Orion Eye Center is a multi specialty ophthalmology practice. Our ophthalmologists manage cataracts, glaucoma, and corneal disease. We also treat medial retina and surgical retina conditions like macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments and more. We do not provide eye glasses or refractions. There are two convenient locations - one in Bend and one in Redmond. We operate in our own ophthalmology-specific outpatient surgery center. Our goal is to make it easy to be a patient.
