I am not happy. I made an appt to see the retina specialist in Grants Pass. Showed up from my appt and had to call because doors were locked. I was told that new patients were seen in Medford. I could have used that bit of information before I took the day off from work.

My husband was patient was for awhile and was receiving injections in the eye to stop the bleeding. His eyes were bleeding more after a year of injections and he decided not to do that anymore. The doctor chastised him and he stopped going. Recently he has an infection that Cascade eye center would not treat so I called the Retna Center for that and told them what was going on. They said they could help so my husband went in and the doctor told him that's not what they do there and chastised him again for not getting the injections and for not coming back. My husband is a brittle type 1 diabetic and his care is difficult. I need ppl to be on the same page and I expect doctors to be professionals. This area is getting very well known for less than standard care and I would think this office would be the last one to act this way.
